Title: Not Here to Swim

Elecmon - May 19, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
Kamon surveyed what lay around him. The air was thick and dense. bugs buzzzed in all direction annoying any who entered the area. The ground was wet and soggy and consisted of many pools of very dirty water. Clouds filled the sky, making it seem dark even in the day time.

"I like it here." Lop said. She jumped into the air to get a better view of the area. She floated back down next to Kamon.

Elecmon smacked a bug that landed on him. "Meh, too many bugs here." He smacked another bug that landed between his eyes. "Besided we're not here to look for property, we're here to train for Lady Insomnia."

"That's right, hopefully she will contact us soon." Kamon held his D-ban close to his face. He noticed it seemed darker than usual. He flipped through the settings, he came to the digi-mental menu. The egg that appeared seemed darker as well.

"Where is someone I can fight?" Elecmon's face grew angry, due to the fact that he wanted to fight. He knew he was weaker than Lop and he wanted to be stronger than everyone, and that meant Lop was his first objective.

"Patientce, we will destroy anything that gets in our way." Lop smiled at the thought of destruction and chaos. "We will fight soon enough."

Vn70072 - May 19, 2007 02:30 AM (GMT)
A shadow against shadows. An inky form slid through the darkness of a nearby patch of dead, decrepit trees. The form of a bulky humanoid emerged standing in the upper branches of one of the trees.

Moments later, a twin, taller and thinner, appeared at the side of the first.

"Well, what do you think?" asked the first.
The second was silent for a moment, his eyes scrutinizing Kamon, Elecmon and Lopmon. "The same as you. I can practically smell the darkness hanging around them. It makes me sick."
"Your orders?"
"Engage them. We were out here to train after all, this will make a fine excercise. I'll notify the others, then return to assist you."
The first nodded, and the second vanished again into the darkness.

The first stood up a bit straighter, his muscles flexing. This was his first test against a real opponent. He'd been trained that they shouldn't revel in combat, but well, he did still have a lot to learn.

Leaping down from the tree, he opened his fanged mouth wide and gave a tremendous roar. "FIST OF THE BEAST KING!" Intense flames launched forth, taking the shape of a lion's head and streaking through the air towards Kamon and his partners.

Elecmon - May 19, 2007 03:04 AM (GMT)
"Look out!" Elecmon sensed the attack coming and all three dodged out of the way. The attack left a small crater in the ground where it impactted. Water quickly flooded the hole. "Finally a strong opponent."

"Do underestimate him." Kamon looked the creature over. "He appeares to be very strong."

"I don't judge strength by appearence." Lop ran at the large opponent. "Blazing ice!" An ice cold ball of air flew right at the Leomon.

At the same time Elecmon made a similar move, calling out, "Sparkling thunder!' Lightning arced across his tail and a large bolt shot out at the enemy.

Vn70072 - May 19, 2007 04:50 AM (GMT)
The dark tamer's opponent hit the ground, its form visible at last. A large, heavily muscled biped with a lionlike head, bushy mane, clawed hands and feet, black pants, and a sword strapped to his back. It was a Leomon.

He jumped to the side, causing both the Sparkling Thunder and Blazing Ice attacks to miss him. Reaching one of his ham-sized fists to his belt, he drew his sword and charged towards Lop. He slashed forward, aiming a vicious slash at the small rabbit-like digimon.

Elecmon - May 19, 2007 05:36 PM (GMT)
"You like swords do you?" Kamon found a card he was looking for and slashed it through his D-ban. "Card slash! Platinum sword!" A large sword appeared in Lop's hands. She held it up blocking the Leomon's attack.

She pushed off jumping back a couple feet. Elecmon at that time ran behind the Leomon. "Sparkiling Thunder!" Lightning headed for Leomon.

At the same time in front of him Lop ran at the lion digimon. She jumped and called out, "Petit twister!" She began spinning rapidly along with the large sword she held. The attack headed for the Leomon as well.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Platinum Sword
Number: U56
Type: Weapon
Duration: Duration of the battle
Effect: Summons a sword that can be wielded by either the user or their Digimon. This sword is capable of causing thirty points of damage, and can also be used to block physical attacks.

Vn70072 - May 19, 2007 05:48 PM (GMT)
The Leomon braced his feet against the ground, deflecting the sparkling thunder attack with his sword. The electric attack crashed headlong into an already-dead tree, setting it ablaze.

At that moment, Lop had initiated her Petit Twister. The blade of the platinum sword slashed across the Leomon's arms and torso several times before he managed to jump back out of the way.

Landing with catlike grace ten feet behind where he'd just stood, he raised his right fist. "Feast of the Beast King!" he yelled, firing a flaming projectile at Elecmon.

Elecmon - May 19, 2007 06:19 PM (GMT)
Elecmon was taken off guard by the attack, sending him flying back several feet into a small pool of water. He growled loudly. Lop landed back on the ground.

"You two need to work together to beat him." Kamon commanded from behind. Both Elecmon and Lop nodded. "But first." Kamon pulled out a card from his stack and ran it through his D-ban. "Card slash! Demon Wind Shuriken!" A large shuriken appeared in Kamon's hands.

"Go now!" Kamon pulled his arm back. He brought it forward with great force propelling the large shuriken forward, aiming at the Leomon.

Lop ran at full force bringin her platinum sword down over Leomon. Elecmon lounged out of the water. He jumped at Leomon and called out, "Body blow!" He came down full force at Leomon.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name:Demon Wind Shuriken
Number: U51
Type:Weapon
Duration:Until the shuriken is thrown
Effect:Only a Dark Tamer can use this card, which summons a deadly shuriken (throwing star) powered by the darkness of whoever wields it. A successful hit causes ten points of damage when thrown by a Child-level Digimon, twenty points when thrown by a Tamer, or thirty points when thrown by an Adult-level Digimon or above.

Vn70072 - May 19, 2007 06:35 PM (GMT)
With agility that belied his bulk, the Leomon twisted out of the way of the Demon Wind Shuriken. However, doing so left him open to the attacks of Kamon's partners.

The lion warrior was sent crashing backwards, impacting painfully on a large boulder. "Heh heh," chuckled the Leomon "This 'll be fun." He was breathing heavily, by all appearances in some amount of pain. But his eyes were filled with fiery determination as he stared at his opponents. But then, his heavy breathing stopped and he lowered his stance.

In a flash, he pounced. With eyeburning speed, he dashed forward. He raised his sword in his left hand, apparently intent on striking Lop with it. But as he closed, he raised his other hand and yelled "Fist of the Beast King!" firing a near point-blank suprise attack.

Elecmon - May 20, 2007 12:23 AM (GMT)
Lop lifted up her sword to block the attack. When the attack hit it knocked the sword out of her hands causing it to hit a few feet from her. She was forced down hard. She grunted from the impact. "Nice, one." Lop tried to get to her feet , but found it very painfull.

"Come on Lop you need to get up to fight." Kamon called out. He felt concern that his oldest friend in this world was going to be destroyed.

"I will stand, and I will fight!" Just then Kamon's D-ban began to glow. Lop felt a power flow through her. "Lopmon shinka!" Lop burst into data, and reformed into a new creature. The creature resembeld a human-like rabbit. It's fur was purple, and it had the same three horns as Lop. It wore what appeared to be a karate outfit. On her arms were two katars that had hinges so they could be folded back. "Turiemon!"

"Ha now you'll pay." Elecmon scoffed.

Lop walked over to the platinum sword and placed it on her back sheathing it in her belt. She just grinned, then she unfolded the blades on her arms and charged the Leomon. "Gauntlet claw!" She swung her blades in hopes of hitting the Leomon.

Vn70072 - May 20, 2007 03:01 AM (GMT)
Leomon's face did not betray any suprise as Lop digivolved. His stance hardened as Turuiemon charged, then swung his sword up and forward. In an expert display, he managed to parry Lop's two blades with his one sword. Unfortunately, although he kept the blades away from his torso, one of them gouged a deep wound into his shoulder.

With a grunt, he wrenched his blade to the side, forcing Lop's arm blades away from him, or so he hoped. Then, he snapped a powerful kick with his left leg up at the Turuiemon.

Elecmon - May 20, 2007 03:13 AM (GMT)
The kick connected with Lop's mid section, knocking her back. Elecmon watched this fight from a distance and decided that he needed to fight. "Lop won't get all of the action here." He charged the Leomon. "Lightning knifes!" Several bolts of lightning flew at Leomon.

Lop stood back up grunting as she got up. "You won't live to tell about this!" She charged Leomon once more, but this time folded back her hand blades and unsheathed her sword. She swung it with all her might.

Vn70072 - May 20, 2007 05:03 AM (GMT)
The Leomon tried to block Elecmon's lightning attack with his sword blade as he'd done earlier, but it didn't work. The force blasted him backwards, keeping him busy long enough for Lop's sword to also make contact.

The Leomon growled angrily, forcing aside the pain and climbing back to his feet. Fierce determination burned in his eyes, and he still neither taunted nor even spoke to his opponents.

The tree ignited earlier by the deflected sparking thunder attack suddenly detonated in a fiery conflagration. The flames ignited some of the nearby underbrush.

Trees, even ones in the Digital World, did not normally explode. However, the flames ignited a pocket of flameable methane 'swamp' gas. If there was one such bubble, there would likely be more, cooking off at undetermineable intervals.

"Fist of the Beast King!" roared the Leomon, shooting another Lion's Head fireball at Elecmon.

Elecmon - May 20, 2007 03:45 PM (GMT)
Elecmon held up his arms to block the blast. The attack hit and him, and he was knocked back about ten feet. He was running low. He figured he would let Lop fight for a while.

Kamon saw how Elecmon was tiring out. 'He is still young, and inexperienced.' Kamon thought. 'Lop will keep the Leomon's attention for now, while Elecmon rests.'

Lop watched the flames grow all around. She decided that it was getting to be the time to end the fight. She charged the Leomon, folding her wrist blades back. As she approached she caled out, "Lighning Kung-fu!" She began kicking and punching at the Leomon at lightning fast speeds.

Vn70072 - May 20, 2007 05:39 PM (GMT)
The Leomon met Lop's attack head on, but the pain of his injuries was starting to weigh him down. One of the kicks knocked him backwards, and he staggered back several feet before regaining his balance.

"Fist of the Beast-AUGH!" yelled the Leomon. Another methane pocket detonated behind him, scorching his back and knocking him forward. The warrior collapsed to one knee, clearly injured. He tried to rise back to his feet, but, muscles quaking, he collapsed again.

Elecmon - May 20, 2007 06:42 PM (GMT)
Lop stood over the now heavily injured Leomon. She looked back to Kamon. "Finish him." Lop only nodded. She took her sword and held it high over the Leomon bringing it down for what she hoped would be the finishing blow.

Elecmon watched with a grin on his face.

Vn70072 - May 21, 2007 01:59 AM (GMT)
A shout echoed across the swamp. "Baptism of Love!" The voice was female, smooth, elegant, but at the same time, radiating with righteous fury.

A ray of shining silver light slashed through the air, knocking Lop's sword back.

Standing atop a large boulder, in a spot that had been vacant moments before, stood a tall, lanky, very humanoid form. She wore golden armor on her lower legs, torso, and arms. From her back sprouted four wings. In one hand, a staff. The other, a broadsword. A D'arcmon. The warrior's stance was upright and square-shouldered, clearly, she had a great deal of confidence.

She gave a withering stare directed at Kamon. "If you think I'm going to let you slay my Apprentice, you are fatally mistaken."

Leomon looked over at the D'arcmon "I tried my best, but-"

"Do not worry," the D'arcmon said, looking down at her comrade, her expression softening. "Leave them to me." She turned her eyes back towards Lop, her burning stare once more up for the world to see.

"The Maiden!" she cried, extending her wings. With a great flap, she swooped through the air and gave a mighty swing of her large sword, aimed straight at Lop.

Elecmon - May 21, 2007 02:37 AM (GMT)
Lop was stunned at the appearence of this new opponent, and didn't anticipate the incoming attack. She did the only thing she could and held up her wrist blades to block the attack. When the opponents blade hit she parried the attack.

Kamon decided it was time to help out. He flipped through his cards and found one that would be most usefull in the current enviroment. "Card slash! Tsunami Strike!" As soon as Lop heard Kamon call out she lept backwards out of the way. But instead of effecting Lop, its intended effect was for Elecmon.

Elecmon felt the power to control the water around him. He lifted his arms up causing all of the stagnant water around him to raise up forming a large tidal wave. He brought his arms down causing the wave to come crashing down towards D'arcmon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Tsunami Strike
Number: U34
Type: Single Target
Duration: Remainder of the battle
Effect: The user’s Digimon gains the ability to summon a tidal wave to strike the opponent out of nowhere. The attack’s power depends on how much water is nearby: for example in a desert, the attack would cause ten points of damage; beside a river it would cause twenty-five points; on a beach it would cause fifty points.

Vn70072 - May 21, 2007 01:53 PM (GMT)
The D'arcmon blinked momentarily, apparently confused by Kamon's choice of cards. Though, this was not a deer in the headlights kind of thing, as it was followed shortly by a soft, derisive laugh.

With a flap of her four wings, D'arcmon lifted herself into the air. The tidal wave attack passed harmlessly below, extinguishing the flames from earlier in the battle. Though the attack failed to effect D'arcmon, the threat of exploding swamp gas had passed. For now.

"If this is the best Insomnia's slaves have to offer..." she spat, her tone radiating contempt. "Baptism of Love!" she yelled, holding her staff high above her. A bolt of silvery light shot from the head of the warrior's staff, shooting down at Lop.

Elecmon - May 22, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
Kamon saw the attack headed for Lop, and decided to help her. "Card slash! Fox power!" Lop felt the strength in her legs increase. She twitched her legs causing her to dodge out of the way of the attack with ease.

"Now it's my turn to attack." With her new speed Lop charged the still airborn D'arcmon. She jumped into the air launching high up at great speeds. She called out, "Lightning kung-fu!" She launched several punches and kicks at the D'arcmon.

Vn70072 - May 22, 2007 03:50 AM (GMT)
A smirk slashed across D'arcmon's face. For, as the warrior digimon knew that although Lop possesed the power to jump well, she still lacked the power to fly, and thus, had very little control over her trajectory once airborn.

The first blow knocked her back, but the fact that she was floating meant the impact was minimal. Then, with a flap of her wings, she swooped around behind Lop and attacked with "The Maiden!" a swing of the heavy sword in her left hand. Then, she dropped toward the ground, landing atop a large boulder.

"Are you sure you can handle these guys, Valdir?" the Leomon said, leaning against a tree. He was recovering from his injuries, but he still wasn't in any shape to fight.
"Tch," said the D'arcmon, apparently called Valdir "I won't let my training from Sandar go to waste." She glared again at Kamon, if looks could kill, the dark tamer would have been vaporized.

Elecmon - May 22, 2007 04:54 AM (GMT)
"No one shall stand in my way." Kamon said with determination in his voice. "I don't care who you are." Kamon's view changed back to the Leomon. "I've had enough of you. I should have had you finished off when I had the chance. Lop do it."

Lop grinned. "Right." She unfolded her hand blades and charged the injured Leomon at her high speeds. "Gauntlet claw!" She called out as she prepared to deliver the final blow.

Elecmon watching this decided to try to hold off D'arcmon. "Sparkling thunder!" Lightning shot form his tail aimed at the witchly digimon.

Vn70072 - May 22, 2007 02:44 PM (GMT)
The Leomon grunted in suprise, trying to jump out of the way. But he just wasn't fast enough. Lop's blades slashed into him and he crashed to the ground, grimacing in pain. "I'm... sorry..." was all he managed before his body exploded into bits of data, carried away by the wind.

"WAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" screamed D'arcmon, deflecting sparkling thunder. She stood atop the boulder, her entire body shaking as the loss of her apprentice set in. Breaths came in ragged gasps. Tears leaked down her cheeks. "You - shouldn't have - done - that" she managed, her eyes looking at Kamon with terrible fury despite the tears coming from them.

"HE WAS NO THREAT!" she screamed, throwing her head back and causing her hair to fan out behind her "D'arcmon shinka!" A brilliant pink light errupted from the distraught angel digimon, rocketing outwards with terrible force that slammed trees back, uprooted small boulders, and even blew away the soiled swamp water.

In the midst of the burning light, D'Arcmon's body changed, growing taller, sprouting four more wings, a helmet appearing on her head. Her armor gave way to a white outfit, with a long pink flowing ribbon wrapped loosely around both arms and up over her back. "Angewomon!"

She stood atop the rock as the light faded, her grieving sadness giving way to wordless fury. "Heaven's Charm!" she shouted, raising her right hand into the air. A rainbow ring emitted upward from her palm, expanding and hovering in the air above her. The multicolored light shone down upon the battlefield, burning at all evil, human and digimon alike.

Elecmon - May 22, 2007 10:46 PM (GMT)
"Well crap..." Is all Kamon could say, as the light quickly came down upon him. The lightdecended and he could feel it power burning him inside. Lop and Elecmon fell to the ground in pain. Kamon stood up as best he could, but came down to one knee.

"Not a threat? Anyone who opposes me I consider a threat. And your friend put up a good fight. But one has to go, and better him than me."

Breathing heavily and with great pain the tamer and his digimon stood back up and formed on one position. "She's too powerfull!" Elecmon cried.

"Maybe for you." Lop replied. "If we both try to attack at once we may be able to overpower her."

"I've got an idea. Not the best one I've had though." The three looked at each other and silently agreed. "Now! Card slash! Offensive X!" Elecmon felt the increase in power flow through him.

Lop charged the Angewomon, Elecmon close behind. As Lop came close to Angewomon, she , with her Renamon-like speeds, jumped and seemed to disappear, and appear above Angewomon. Elecmon continued to charge forward, getting within close range. He called out, "Sparkiling thunder!" A larger bolt of lightning shot out headed for the angel-digimon.

Lop, above Angewomon, called out, "Gauntlet claw!" Slashing her blades down upon the head of Angewomon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Offensive X
Number: C26
Type: Single Target
Duration: Remainder of the battle
Effect: The next attack used by the affected Digimon doubles in power.

Vn70072 - May 23, 2007 02:08 AM (GMT)
Valdir didn't even bother pointing at to Kamon the hole in his logic. A badly wounded Digimon no longer fighting could hardly be considered 'in the way'. But she wasted no further time on exchanging pleasantries with one of Insomnia's minions. She didn't even seem to notice as the Heaven's Charm faded away.

What of her face that wasn't covered by her helmet betrayed no suprise or alarm at the approach of Kamon's two partners. From above, Lop's blade attack. From below, Kamon's powered-up Sparking Thunder. With a flap of her eight wings, she flew up and back. Although this allowed her to avoid Lop's attack, it still left her open to Elecmon's lightning attack.

The bolt of energy hammered into the angel Digimon, knocking her back a little bit more. But as the attack dispersed, it was clear Valdir hadn't been seriously effected by the attack. Successive attacks might work, but a Perfect-Level Digimon was too strong for just a few attacks to be damaging.

She continued drifting slowly backwards, raising her right arm. A bow formed in her hands. "Holy Arrow!" She yelled, forming an arrow of shining white light and shooting it at Elecmon. A flare of pink light errupted the Angewomon, and she grimaced in pain. It was possible that her newly aquired power was still unstable.

Elecmon - May 23, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)
The arrow flew straight and true directly at Elecmon. He watched as the powerfull perfect level attack was poised to take him out. He was ready for the end when a voice called out, "Card slash! Fly away activate!" Elecmon felt himself being lifted off the ground, he looked up to see Lop carrying him up into the air. A pait of large white wings propelled the bunny Digimon upward.

Kamon saw the flicker of pain come from the Angewomon, and decided to use this to his advantage. 'Her anger made her evolve. Maybe she wasn't ready for it.' He grinned slyly at this thought. "Attack together now!"

Lop flew down at Angewomon at her fastest speed, and threw Elecmon at her with all his might. Elecmon called out, "Nine tails!" He whipped around to slap the angel with his tails.

At the same time Lop called out, "Bunny Bombardment!" She fired several energy balls from her hands, she expected they would hit just after Elecmon struck.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name:Fly Away
Number: C14
Type: Single Target
Duration: 1 Turn
Effect:Grants one Digimon a pair of white wings, allowing it to fly at its normal running speed.

Vn70072 - May 23, 2007 03:31 AM (GMT)
A smirk slashed across Valdir's face. Adjusting her wings, she repositioned herself and delivered a powerful kick to the incoming Elecmon before his attack hit her. The blow would send the child digimon flying to the side, for a presumably-painful impact with the ground.

The Angewomon didn't move to evade Lop's energy barrage, grimacing slightly as the bursts exploded against her. More damage, but not enough to slow her down. Recklessly, she preffered to prepare herself for an attack rather than avoid an opponent's blow. Immediately, she conjured another arrow, readied her bow, and fired the light projectile up at Lop.

Another flash of pink light errupted from the Angewomon's side, but this time, she didn't seem to show any pain. Whether she didn't feel any, or simply masked it, was uncertain.

Elecmon - May 23, 2007 04:42 AM (GMT)
Lop barely had time to pull out her sword to block the attack. Upon impact the light arrow broke the sword. Lop's wings disapated and she fell back to the ground with a thud.

Elecmon landed painfully after the kick delivered to him. "I'm no match against a perfect level." Elecmon began to feel rage against the Angewomon, for knowing he couldn't beat her.

Kamon felt Elecmon's anger and upon feeling it his D-ban, began glowing and the digimental of friendship appeared on screen. Elecmon felt a power grow within him. He then began to glow a bright light. "Elecmon armor shinka!" Elecmon burst into data reforming back into a quadraped creature. He reamin about the same size, but his back was covered in dozens of ice spikes, his fur was a dark blue and the symbol of the crest of friendship was imprinted on both of his fore-feet. "Togemogumon!"

Togemogumon stood ready to strike. He arched his back causing many off his spikes to stand up. He called out, "Hail machinegun!" All of the spikes on his bcak shot off and came down over the head of the Angewomon.

Not wanting Togemogumon to get all the action Lop decided to add in the attack. From her postion she fired more energy balls from her palms at the angel digimon.

Vn70072 - May 23, 2007 03:48 PM (GMT)
Valider summoned another arrow, firing it at the incoming needle barrage. The silvery projectile slashed through, exploding many of the needles as the dropped towards their target. The remaining was no real threat, sparking as the impacted the Angewomon and her surroundings.

The reckless angel spread her wings, shooting through the air towards Lop. Naturally, this placed her partially in the line of fire for the Bunny Bombardment. But the Angewomon shrugged off the pain, firing a point-blank "Holy Arrow!" at Lop.

Elecmon - May 24, 2007 01:20 AM (GMT)
Lop closed her eyes knowing this blow might be her last. She braced herself for the blow, but felt no pain. She opened her eyes to see a ball of spikes, sitting in front of her. Togemogumon winced in pain, as the perfect level attack did its damage.

"Thanks." Lop lept over Togemogumon, and called out, "Lightning kung-fu!" She threw many punches and kicks at the angel.

Togemogumon unfurled and faced the Angewomon calling out, "Hail machinegun!" The spikes on his back fired off at the angel digimon at point blank range.

Vn70072 - May 24, 2007 05:13 AM (GMT)
Angewomon extended her wings, attempting to avoid the incoming attacks. The blades from Togemogumon slashed at her, joined by Lop's flurry of feet and fists. "Heaven's Charm!" she yelled, summong another ring of brilliant light. The energy served the dual purpose of shielding Valider from the remaining attacks, and sending the searing light at all evil nearby.

The holy warrior glided backwards, steeling herself for a long fight. At this point, the fate of the battle was uncertain. Valdir might lose control and break down into a weaker form, or use her newly aquired strength to disintegrate Kamon, Elecmon, and Lop. Perhaps a mix of the two.

Elecmon - May 24, 2007 06:14 AM (GMT)
Kamon knew he was running out of ideas and power. This attack would leave a nasty mark whether on his Digimon, or his pride. The ring of light came down, and the trio tried to run away from the ring, but weere caught by its power. Togemogumon collapsed, breathing heavily. Lop fell to her knees, and Kamon was on his hands and knees.

Lop was the first to rise. Marks of the battle covered her body. She knew this was coming to an end soon. Kamon got to his fet with much effort, but Togemogumon stay laying on the ground. Kamon needed to do something, or this wasn't going to end well.

Lop's cloak blew in the wind, and her mind reaced with what options she still had. "One of us will fall." Lop unfolded her wrist blades.

Kamon saw Lop's determination to this battle, and knew he would need to help her. With much effort Kmaon pulled a card from his stack. "Card slash! Chemical reation activate!" Lop's blades surged with electricity.

Lop charged the Angewomon, at full speed. Her rage filled her burning, fueling her determination. She called out, "Gauntlet claw!" With great force she swung her blades, lightning surging from the edges, in hopes of striking down the angelic opponent.

Effect: Mixes an electric shock in with the affected Digimon’s attack, adding thirty extra points of damage against metal-based Digimon, twenty against water-based Digimon and ten against all other Digimon.

Vn70072 - May 24, 2007 07:22 PM (GMT)
The glowing halo of heaven's charm faded once more, and Valdier steeled herself against the coming attack. Another burst of pink energy flared from her back, and she collapsed to the ground in pain.

She grunted in pain, standing up in time to meet Lop's attack. She managed to partially block it with the leading edge of her bow, but the attack nonetheless sent the Angewomon carreening backwards as the jolt of electricity jumped into her. But with a flap of her wings, she regained control and landed upon the muddy ground.

Breathing heavily, the Angewomon raised her bow and conjured another arrow of gleaming light. "Holy Arrow!" She shouted, pulling back on the bow and launching the arrow through the air towards Lop. Another flare of pink energy caused Valdir to stagger, although she managed to regain her composure and prepare for a likely counterattack.

Elecmon - May 24, 2007 10:35 PM (GMT)
Lop ducked to try to avoid the attack, but the arrow skimmed across the top of her head, just barely. She cringed in pain, this couldn't go on much longer. She turned to look back at Kamon, who motioned to have her come over.

She dashed over to him and leaned in close. "I know your tired, but if you can hold her off her power might be her downfall."

Lop flashed a confused look. "What will that acomplish?"

"She evolved through anger. Not through skill, she isn't able to handle the stress of evolution it seems. Get her to over use her power and she might tire herself out." Kamon pulled out a card. "But first a little boost. Card slash! Regeneration activate!" Lop didn't feel her strength return and seemed confused; Kamon pointed to Togemogumon, and Lop nodded.

"Right." Lop took off back towards Angewomon. Her blades still crackled with electricity. She stopped about twenty feet in front of the angel. Togemogumon stirred, and stood with a lot of effort back to his feet.

His breathing became labored, and he had only a small amount of energy left. Whether he wanted to or not he wasn't going to be able to fight much longer. He made his way to Lop's side. "I see you haven't won yet."

"Not yet, but maybe we can still beat her." Lop whisperd into Togemogumon's ear what Kamon had told her.

"Let's do it." Lop took off running, with Togemogumon in front of her. Togemogumon rolled into a ball and rolled, spikes out, at Angewomon.

Lop was close behind. She jumped above Togemogumon and called out, "Bunny bombardment!" She fired energy balls from her palms once more at the angel digimon. Each ball crackled with electricity.

Valdir levitated off the ground, raising her bow and preparing another arrow. As she prepared to fire at Togemogumon, another painful burst of energy exploded out of her stomach. But, despite the agony inflicted, the violent outburst also struck Togemogumon, burning away at him and stopping his rolling assault.

Valdir turned her eyes to Lop as the weakened Adult showered her in a barrage of energy bolts. She quickly raised and fired her bow at Lop. She then spread her wings, attempting to fly to the side. Her effort was partially successful, causing about half the bursts to miss her. The remaining half splashed across her, dicharging painful electricity.

The pain must have been hurting the Angewmon, because the arrow flew at Lop, but it seemed off. Lop lept backwards narrowly dodging the arrow. She landed, but not softly. Her legs ached form the extent of the battle.

Without trying to come up with a strategy, Togemogumon decided to go with the direct approach. He aimed up at Valdir and called out, "Hail machinegun!" Dozens of spikes fired off his back and flew at the angel.

Lop tried to join in the attack, but found she was too exhausted at the moment to do much of anything. She watched the spikes as they flew at the angel.

Valdir was weak, too weak to use another Heaven's charm, although it would have quicky accomplished her goal of both deflecting Hail Machinegun and damaging her opponents. She spread her wings and tried to fly up and avoid the hit, but it wasn't fast enough. The blades slashed into the Angewomon, inflicting numerous shallow wounds.

But the mounting pain from within and without seemed to only fuel the angel's burning determination. She raised her bow, pulled back, and let the arrow fly. "Holy Arrow!" she yelled, shooting directly at Togemogumon. Pink energy flashed from Valdir's back, and it was only through sheer determination she remained on her feet. She couldn't let this... thing get off killing her apprentice, but she wasn't even sure she had the strength for another attack.

"Crystal guard!" Togemogumon curled up into a ball causing the arrow to do minimal damage. Togemogumon cringed from the pain he felt. He unfurled. turned back to Lop, who had just made it to her feet.

"My turn!" She charged forward. "Gauntlet claw!" Lop lept at the angel slashing her blades.

"Hail machinegun!" Togemogumon fired off the spikes on his back once more, as they came raining down over the Angewomon. Kamon watched the battle taking place, and knew that Lady Insomnia would be impressed. He knew taking out an angel would more than likely please his master.

The Gauntlet Claw and Hail Machinegun attacks streaked towards their target, and Valdir weakly spread her wings to fly away from the attack.

A collosal wall of steel appeared before the wounded Angewomon, stonewalling the attacks. As the smoke from the impacts cleared, the form of a large humanoid encased entirely in medieval armor came into view. A red crest was visible on his torso plate, a large golden shield on his back along with a massive longsword. A Knightmon.

"Valdir," he said, turning his away from Kamon and his partners, towards the Angewomon standing behind him. "Are you alright?" The Knightmon's voice sounded like that of an old man, a calm, experienced veteran of many battles.

"I'm fine," she insisted, although she clearly wasn't. Her breathing was heavy, her wings sagging, barely upright.

"I told you this was reckless, but you just wouldn't listen," the Knightmon said. Although his armor-encased face was naturally unreadable, he sounded distinctly disappointed.

A final burst of pink light exploded from the wounded Angewomon, and then soft white light engulfed her. When it faded, she had returned to her Adult level form, a D'arcmon once more. Though she was no longer wasting energy holding a higher form, she was still quite weak.

"Finish them off," she said angrily.

"I don't take my orders from you, Valdir, I don't care what your relation to Sandar is."

For the moment, the Knightmon didn't seem to have any interest in engaging Kamon. He seemed focused on his conversation with Valdir.

"They killed -" Valdir's sentence was cut off in another flash of pink light errupting from her torso, and when it cleared, she had devolved down to Plotmon.

"Look at you," the Knightmon said disdainfully, turning around and looking down at Valdir's child form.

Lop and Togemogumon gathered around Kamon. "This fight is over." Kamon and his partners turned to leave, hoping that the Knightmon didn't wish to fight him as well. He and his partners were exhausted and didn't feel like battling with yet another perfect level digimon.

The Knightmon glanced at Kamon as he pulled away from the fight, but didn't bother paying him too much attention. For the armored warrior had full confidence in his ability to dispose of the budding tamer and his partners with ease.

Valdir, despite her great reduction in power, glared up at the much larger Knightmon nonetheless. "If you don't-"

"Be silent," the Knightmon said, cutting off any possible argument. "You're in enough trouble already."

"But," the Plotmon protested "He's a dark tamer, he must be stopped!"

"All this time, and you understand nothing. We will speak of this no further." The Knightmon planted his palms together, an aura of green light shining out around him, enclosing both himself and Valdir. Then, the light faded, taking with it the two Digimon. Kamon, Lop, and Elecmon were alone in the swamp.
