Title: 2nd hologram
Ben Wilson - August 23, 2008 12:01 AM (GMT)
Zander is modding ... i think
Tamer Name: Ben Wilson
Digimon Species: Motimon
Battle Type: Hologram
Field Area: A small city that looks like it had been destroyed by bombs. The main battle field is a multi story built in a triangular shape, the bulk of which is still intact though a few holes are in places.
Ben looked around at the landscape, watching as he saw crumbling building and what looked like a large scorch mark across the pavement. What he had put in the field was a post apocalyptic city in Britain. He was stood on the roof of a building, with Stuart in his Child form.
Ben quickly descended the stairs and walked through the apartment building. He turned around quickly, thinking he heard a noise. There was no-one around though. Stuart quickly landed nearby, looking around as well. "What do you think it's going to be?"
Ben looked at him, "I dunno, what digimon infests buildings in a post apocalyptic world?" Suddenly hearing a crash Ben swung around to get the answer to his question.
Zander Steele - August 23, 2008 04:06 PM (GMT)
Creaking could be heard from the deserted structure of metal and glass, and though it would be hard to tel l what the noise was, it came from the right of the pair.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, from the floor about 10 feet away from then came a crash, and something burst from the floor below into their presence in a fury of flame. It was blue with a white belly, but it wore armor in shades of red, orange, and yellow on its hands, feet, knees, chest, and head. It wore a set of leather buckles on its upper arms. A large bladed horn jutted from the helmet, and sharp claws on his armored hands and feet finished off the look nicely. The Fladramon landed nimbly in the flor, his red eyes catching the boy and his Tentomon.
"So, you guys are my opponents?" he said in a loud, cocky voice, "Well then, let's get started!" he raised his gauntlets and tok a stance, his muscles tense.
Ben Wilson - August 23, 2008 06:44 PM (GMT)
Ben fell back on to his backside. The monster in front of him looked a lot stronger than either of Stuart's forms. Stuart, seeing that ben was hesitating, fired at the floor at Fladramon's feet. "It's a fire type, the level above me, i need cards"
Ben nodded at Stuart before slashing a card, "Digi-modify, Waterproof" Ben said calmly, but instead of aiming at Stuart, it flew at the Fladramon. This would nullify any of his fire based attacks and hopefully limit him to close quarters.

As he saw the Tentomon fire, he started to flare up his clawed gauntlets, but nothing happened. Figuring that the human had a hand in this, he smirked. 'This punk is about to learn I don't need my fire...' the Fladramon thought as he arched his back, springing off of his feet and backwards towards a pile of collapsed rubble. landing on his gauntlets, he sprung again and righted himself.
Looking to his right, he used the strength of his arms to forcefully dig out a small piece of I-beam.
"Catch!" the Fladramon yelled, releasing the beam then kicking it forward with his armored foot.
(Short for me too.)
Ben Wilson - August 24, 2008 11:06 AM (GMT)
Ben smiled when he realized he had stopped all of Fladramon's special attacks. That quickly turned to horror when the beam flew through the air at him and Stuart. Ben quickly slashed a second card "Digi-modify, knight device." He quickly catapulted himself into the air. He shot through the crumbling roof. and tentomon quickly followed him.
Stuart quickly got ben to his feet and ran away from where the enemy was. "Come on!" Ben tried running but fell and crashed through the floor.
Ben tried to turn over, his back killing, before seeing the Fladramon in the distance. "Digimodify, Snake caller" he slashed the card, worrying about Stuart's energy.
The Santiramon burst through the floor and with a quick nod to Ben, fired one of his attacks. Then it went under the floor before coming up behind fladramon and firing his second attack. It's purpose fulfilled, it slithered away.

(Remember to add your cards to the post Ben. I know I've said this before, in this thread even ^_^.)
Ben Wilson - August 24, 2008 03:56 PM (GMT)
Zander Steele - August 24, 2008 04:10 PM (GMT)
The human jumped that high? How did he do that?
Surely by another of those things they called cards. The Fladramon snorted and watched the boy fall back throug hthe roof he had just recently jumped through. He then saw the flash of a second card and a booming crash from underneath. A giant anake burst from the floor and struck at him with a polearm held by its tail.
Fladramon backed up, but didn't compensate for the speed of the Santiramon as it shifted to behind him, then struck again. The blow knocked him to the ground, striking him in the back of his chest armor. The hit hurt, coming from a perfect level's weapon, but it didn't break his armor, and he was glad of that.
Reclaiming his balance and standing up, he yelled, "Fire Rocket!"
Although no flames came to cover him, he jumped up, turning around and landing on the ceiling. He used it as a means to propel himself like a bullet towards the group, namely the Tentomon. The blade on his helmet was still sharp, and it was aimed at Stuart. If he happened ot miss, he wouldn't be as prone at the angle he shot off from, for he would be going through the floor.
Ben Wilson - August 24, 2008 04:47 PM (GMT)
Stuart quickly took flight and aimed himself at the approaching digimon, "Petite thunder" he shouted, before turning slightly to move out of the way. Stuart felt a surge of victory and turned round to gloat. Unfortunately he didn't slow down and crashed straight into the ceiling. Unluckily he didn't make it all the way through and fell to the floor in a daze.
Ben suddenly felt very scared. The fladramon was underneath him, Stuart was dazed and he was defenseless. He quickly ran across the floor to where Stuart was laid. He stood in front of him ready for any sudden attack.
Stuart simply laid on the floor. His entire body felt heavy and he was having trouble stringing together two thoughts. Ben sighed as Stuart tried to stand and fell to the floor. "Digi-modify, Coin bomber" He shouted as ten coins appeared in his hands. He readied himself to throw them at the enemy digimon. He had one or two more cards that didn't rely on his digimon partner, but he'd need help to really fight. "Digi-modify, Regeneration" He shouted as a blue light covered Stuart and started to heal him.

Zander Steele - August 24, 2008 11:20 PM (GMT)
The Armor level zoomed by the bug, too fast for its lightning to catch him as he burst through the floor, but stopped himself before his horn could get caught in the floor below. looking up as the hole he punched through the ceiling, Contemplating his next move, he leapt up and through the hole he had just made, turning to find the tamer next to his partner. he floated backwards as he landed, with enough space between them to dodge if necessary.
"Just like you humans to use so many cards. Can't let your partner battle for himself?' the Fladramon questioned the human.
Ben Wilson - August 25, 2008 11:58 AM (GMT)
Ben smirked, "Sure, let's let the unconscious digimon battle" With that he threw two of the coins before slashing a card. "Digi-modify, Ice lasso" In his other hand, a noose appeared. He quickly tested it's strength before throwing it at the armor digimon.
Stuart had finally woken up and got shakily to his feet. He saw that ben was taking on the digimon alone and wanted to help. He slowly pulled himself into the air and fired his lightning attack. It was a little off target and hit the wall next to fladramon. Stuart felt a surge of relief when it started to fall inwards. He became worried when the entire ceiling started falling. If nobody did anything, the building would suddenly be missing a few floors.

Zander Steele - August 25, 2008 12:54 PM (GMT)
"You talk while waving cards around boy." the armored lizard spoke.
Fladramon swung his claw, deflecting one of the coins as it exploded harmlessly on his metal gauntlet. The second coin hit his stomach, making a burn where it detonated. He had not the time to think about pain though, for the Tentomon had just caused the wall to start falling. He jolted forward, past the lasso that was thrown at him, as he heard a rumble from above, sprinting across the building to stay ahead of the rubble. When he reached an epmty window on the other wall, he grasped the top of the frame with a claw, hoisting himself around and upward. If something was coming down, he'd rather be on top of the rubble then under it.
(I really had no ideas for this. I had an idea, but I doubt Fladramon has the strength)
Ben Wilson - August 25, 2008 01:34 PM (GMT)
Ben quickly ran after the fladramon. Stuart was just behind him and quickly catching up. When they finally reached the window he jumped out.
He really hadn't planned this out right.
He was going to be a splat.
Ben quickly opened his eyes and remembered the lasso. Swinging it he managed to catch a conveniently placed lamppost. He felt his arm pull away from his body but he held on and managed to miss the floor by a few inches. He dropped to the floor and left the lasso stuck to the lampost. He looked up at Stuart "What happened to always helping me out?"
Stuart landed nearby. "I was going to help"
Ben shook his head, "sure, i think we're going to have to use that card"
Stuart quickly caught on, slightly worried. He flew straight towards the Fladramon. Ben winced at what he was going to do. He shouldn't force him to, but he needed more fire power. "Digi-modify, Drak's delusions".
Stuart shouted out in slight pain, not use to this amount of energy. He suddenly felt his body contorting. "Tentomon, Digivolved to ... Kabuterimon!" In the place of the small insect was a large blue insect. A helmet covered most of it's face, leaving it's mouth mostly uncovered. It aimed itself at the digimon it's predecessor had been targeting. "BEET HORN" He shouted aimed at the digimon.

(ooc: i digivolved him into champion, should he be armor?"
Zander Steele - August 25, 2008 02:28 PM (GMT)
(No, you did it right. Armor is a level between champion and rookie that is only obtainable with a Digimental. If you WANTED to change him to Armor I'm sure you could, but then again why would you? ^_^)
The Fladramon huffed once he had landed, saying, "Man, this is one heated battle..." to himself before he heard a loud buzzing from outside. Turning to look over the edge of the crumbling floors, he saw a bug bigger then the one he had been fighting chargin at him with its horn. He yelled, "Claw Express!" as the Kabuterimon got closer, slamming his left claw around into the horn to deflect its attack, then coming around with his right claw, all in the same counterattack.
(My apoligies for the short posts)
Ben Wilson - August 26, 2008 09:00 AM (GMT)
(Sorry, i forgot, I'll have another go)
Kabuterimon pulled away, flying into the air. His body seemed to crunch inwards. A blue sphere appeared in front of him. Throwing his body open the sphere flew towards the Fladramon. He quickly flew further away, before flying straight at the walls "Beet horn" he cried as he hit the wall and kept going tearing down the last remaining supports.
Ben winced and looked at his cards. Singling one out, he quickly slashed it, "Digi-modify, Thousand knives" He watched in interest as knives started to rain down above Fladramon.

Zander Steele - August 26, 2008 02:51 PM (GMT)
Complications arose for the Armor level. He scooted away from the lightning attack, then saw the Kabuterimon charge towards the building and had a brief glimpse of inspiration, he began to run away fro mthe bug as it hit the building, his plan to meet it on the other side coming into difficulty by the tamer's meddling card usage. As he watched the knives begin to fall, he zig-zagged left and right, trying his best to dodge.
These weren't guided attacks, but there were a lot of them. As best as he did to dodge, four or five of them struck him anyways. Two of the knives hit his armor and bounced off, but the other three implanted in his right arm and back respectively.
Pain shot through him and he almost stumbled, reagining himself just in time to reach the edge of the building, where hopefully he had made it before the bug did. He knew at that time that Stuart was trying to bring the floor down, so he jumped without a second thought, aiming to land on the Kabuterimon's back. If not, he could always edge back into the building.
Ben Wilson - August 27, 2008 09:32 AM (GMT)
Stuart flew through the building and quickly flew through the other side. Looking around for the fladramon, he suddenly felt a weight on his back. Kabuterimon tried spinning around and flying higher. Hoping to shake the fladramon off his back. Stuarts mind was a violent haze, unable to think of how he could get the creature off.
Ben looked on worried, he couldn't help out at all. The only thing he could think to do was try and get him to lose his grip. "Digi-modify, Ice armor". he watched as the armor cover the champions form. luckily it didn't cover the digimon on his back as well, instead it slid underneath it.

Zander Steele - August 28, 2008 01:01 AM (GMT)
He got his grip on the tough exoskeleton of the bug, and almost raised his armored claw before the Kabuterimon started his attemps to throw him off. He clung as good as he could, that was until a layer of ice covered the bug's hide, almost making him slip off. He planted his feet on the bug and leaped, falling back towards the building. Slowing his decent be spreading his arms and legs out, he raited for the opportune moment then curled into a defensive roll, hitting the building with his armored left arm.
Rolling sideways, he uncurled and steadied himself, pain running up and down his arm. There were cracks in his armor and a claw was broken from his left hand, so he detahed it and threw it off the side of the building, rubbing his arm to try and ease the pain as he searched for his foe.
Ben Wilson - August 28, 2008 11:25 AM (GMT)
Ben watched as his quick thinking had stopped Stuart from being gutted. He swung around as the giant insect passed overhead, missing the blade that had been thrown of the side of the building. It spun in the air for a moment before falling and lodging itself in his arm. He cried out in pain, screaming swear words at the fire type digimon. It was only his luck that he would be hurt by accident.
Stuart saw the scene unfold and he felt a spark of empathy. His slightly distorted logic thought of a saying ben had once used, 'an eye for an eye'. He flew up until he was almost the same height as the building. "MEGA BLASTER" he shouted firing his ranged attack. he didn't stop however and pulled back until he was level with the floor and the weakened digimon. "Beet horn" he said as he flew forward with his arms outstretched, wondering how the digimon before him would like being stabbed.
Ben looked at the blade in his arm and realized he would have to slash cards in another way. He looked up and seeing Stuarts strategy he quickly grabbed out a random card with his good hand, turning it over to find it to be the one he wanted. Unluckily the digivice was on the same wrist as his good hand. he twisted his hand into an uncomfortable position as he slashed the card up the slot. "Digimodify, Iron fist"
---
Name: Iron Fist
Number: U53

((Terribly sorry to interrupt, but you've used by my count Ben, ten cards. Even if he's been evolved to Kabuterimon through cards, he doesn't have much more stamina/energy than he did before, with only 1.2 DEP.
Using that many cards, each of which drain energy, with so little DEP, and showing no visible strain from it isn't right at all. The rules don't specifically limit the number of cards, only generally, but in the name of realism, you shouldn't use any more without your partner quite likely collapsing from exhaustion.))
Zander Steele - August 29, 2008 03:10 PM (GMT)
The Fladramon's reflexes were slowing down, and that caused problems when he got hit with a blast of electricity. shocking him down to his very core. His realization hit when he saw the tamer slashing another card and the Adult insect charging. He hopped over the reach of Stuart and his horn, and landed behind him, looking for a good place to attack from. He had one single idea in mind, but it might prove suicide.
Running over, he hopped off of the rest of the building, landing with a thud where Ben would be. Despite the pain in his legs from the stamina it took to keep running, he charged towards the tamer, all the while looking over his back as he waid, "Hey, dumb insect! Bet you wouldn't try that again!"
(Sorry, but you slashed Iron Fist AFTER Stuart fired his Mega Blaster, so the enhancement to electricity doesn't count for that one attack.
EDIT: Ignore previous statements about not being able to attack twice in one turn.)
Ben Wilson - September 5, 2008 05:04 PM (GMT)
(sorry that i sort of disappeared a little, and also for the uber-card use, I'll remember that from now on)
Ben watched in horror as the hologram landed next to him. The taunting was working and Stuart turned to them. Even from this far away he could see anger radiating from him. Ben tried to get away and could only hope that Stuart would de digivolve quick enough.
Stuart could feel weakness tugging at his body and decided to make the best of his remaining time. He pooled all his energy into one blast and fired down towards the warrior below him. In his rage he ignored his trainer being stood right there.
Ben saw the energy gathering and decided he would have to act. He pulled the knife out of his arm and lunged it forward at the unsuspecting armor digimon. He knew he wouldn't be strong enough to cause any real damage and hoped he could prove a distraction. He slumped to the floor and tried to crawl away
Zander Steele - September 7, 2008 07:55 PM (GMT)
A snort, kicking of dust, and the Fladramon started following the tamer. His muscles ached from the fall and the damage sustained ot his body, so he was considerably sluggish. He clenched his unarmored fist as he looked back, seeing the electrical attack zooming towards them. He was hoping for the best, but when he went to jump out of the way, his clawed foot slid on the ground, unbalancing him in the sir.
The bolt of elercticity hit him hard, pain shooting through his whole body. IT was too much for his stamina to hold back, and with a flash he burst into bits of data, spread out inside the training area. the last remnants of data finally vanished, and in the spot the Fladramon was a plushie in his likeness.
The arena hologram faded, and all was normal once again. No destruction, no battlescars. It was normal again. A small panel upened up near the exit with Ben's prize money for winning the battle.
(You get .1 DEP for Stuart, 100 bucks, and this:
| CODE |
Fladramon Plushie Small likeness of a fierce Fladramon. Squeeze belly to make armor light up. |
)
Ben Wilson - September 7, 2008 08:24 PM (GMT)
Stuart de-digivolved all the way to motimon, Falling to the floor in a dead faint. Ben crawled over to him, Exhausted but suddenly missing the giant gash in his arm he quickly made his way to him. He lifted his arm and picked up Stuart. Pulling him closer and standing up slowly, he wobbled slightly before making his way to the door. Quickly checking him, he smiled and whispered so that even if Stuart was awake he wouldn't here him
"Thanks"
