^^ Just a thread that hit me while I was doing the dishes. A couple of nights ago I was looking at the Zodiac and looking at what my character's signs were, both in the Chinese Zodiac and the other one. And I've been thinking, Why not see how well they match to their star signs? So this thread was born. :)

So let's start...

See Cyrus was born March 28, 1992. His Star Sign would be Aries the Ram. Their element is Air (highly ironic considering Hang's Champion form) and their planet is Mars. Not quite so ironic. Mars was the god of War and Cy sucks at battle.

Good traits for Aries are adventurous, energetic, pioneering, courageous, enthusiastic, confident, dynamic, and quick-witted. Sounds like him maybe after he finally recieves his crest. :D

Bad traits...

Selfish and quick-tempered...
Impulsive and impatient...
Foolhardy and daredevil...

Hm... Sounds more like me... Though, I could eventually see at least some of these traits rearing their ugly heads... ;>.>


Chinese Zodiac I believe would make him a monkey. ^^

Chinese Zodiac Info and Star Sign Info though I suggest looking around a bit on your own. :) You might find one you think works better.

I picked June 18th because it was close to the time I created her, but wow! I can't see a single word up there that doesn't describe her. :¦D: Well, except maybe "eloquent," but give her a break, she barely even spoke English before she came to the Digital World! :^w^:
Gemini is an Air sign - a close (but not exact) fit for Zoe's Spirit Evolution - and ruled by Mercury, named for the messenger of the Greco-Roman gods. How fitting, given that the original incarnation of her character was a delivery girl - not a messenger, but close enough :=):

Macio hatched on August 12th (at least, that's the timestamp on the post in which he hatched), so he's a Leo, I suppose. Not all of his sign's traits describe him as much as Zoe's, but some do - mostly the positive traits. :3
Leo is a Fire sign ruled by the Sun: the same as Macio's element as a Child and Adult, and the symbol of the Crest he uses to become Boarmon or Chatsuramon. Perfect, absolutely perfect!

Okay, Icarus: you're allowed ONE cutting remark about "self-indulgent and greedy." :¦Þ:

Technically, Julien was born on the Aries/Taurus cusp, but apart from his dislike of oppression, he has almost no traits of the former very assertive sign - plenty from the latter, though. He can be jealous, possessive, resentful and inflexible - not many flexible people I know would refuse to continue their comfortable life with their grandparents after suddenly finding out why they never knew their birth parents. But Julien definately loves order, consistancy and nature - he'll be seeing plenty of the last one in the Digital World, but almost none of the first two. Hope he can overcome his "inflexibility" to cope with that :-_l:
Taurus' element is Earth, appropriote considering all but one of Julien's partners will be of the Nature Spirits family at Child level. Its ruling planet is Venus - all too fitting for Julien's Digimental trait. Not to mention his grandparents' farm reared sheep (he was born two days shy of being an Aries) and cows :^,^:

Not many people know that the very first post involving the Digimon who'd eventually become known as Icarus was made on October 18th, though it looks like 19th to my board settings. Either way, this places him under the same sign as his current player: Libra. Some of the sign's traits fit the Falcomon like a glove (particularly the negative ones); others don't.
But then again, the fact that Libra is an Air sign pretty much speaks for itself, and its ruler, Venus, fits for the same reason as Julien's. :-_l:

I don't believe in including years in the birthdates of characters who'll remain one age for an unspecified amount of time, so I can't really do the Chinese signs of my characters' actual birth years. :¦Þ:

Nyah, doesn't describe her at all. 'specially not the "flashy dresser" part. XD Dreamy and extravagant, maybe...
But the Rooster is associated with the element of Metal, and all of Macio's forms but Baby, Armor and Matrix are of the Metal Empire family. Not entirely unfitting, then.

*nods* That's Julien to a T. He's not especially materialistic but definately demanding of himself and, to a lesser extent, others. I'm also having an oddly easy time seeing him as a lawyer. :^,^:

What a fitting sign for this Deva. :-_l: Macio most definately has a larger share of this sign's traits than Icarus, although the latter most certainly exemplifies its negative characteristics: a fault-finder with a cutting tongue. And though many would think otherwise from looking at him, the Falcomon is indeed loyal to those he cares about - in time he will be able to safely say he'd risk his life for his Tamer, but at present, he's still learning about the power of devotion and chivalry that lies dormant inside him.

Okay well about Laiko, I have no clue when she first came into my existance in my mind, but seeing as she's a recycled character and has been introduced to a small area of the internet before, I looked up on one of my old LJs and found this date.

Even though it's not entirely accurate, it's what I'm using.

So for Horoscope, that would place her under the Libra, like Ikky. Which is okay, seeing as a few traits fit her.

Yeah, a few hits and misses. She's a little charming *pokes EK for some reason* and I suppose a bit of a romantic, which will tie in nicely with her crest. Diplomaitic I guess, and definitely peaceable and gullible, naive. Not so much on the sociable scale (but it's getting there a bit), and not much of a flirt.*

*Though if anyone has seen the amount of characters I've had/asked to be in a couple during an RP. Thankfully no one has, because the grand majority of them are whores XD And Lai might not be any different.

Not really much on the fashion thing, I don't think she's really give a hoot, but everything else is spot on pretty much.

Not exactly what I had in mind. I've always seen Lai with yellow/oranges on her and not much blue (cause I give way too many characters blue usually XD), but I guess it sort of works with at least one of her partner's forms, as in each of the them have a flying form.

Now for the Chinese Zodiac! I'm doing two here; one for her actual age and stuff, and another cause I know the specific year I conceived her. ^^
