Title: The Day at the Beach
Ishimaru - October 20, 2007 01:17 PM (GMT)
The Trailmon pulled up on the weird train tracks around the beach. The door opened and smoke spit out of the side of the large digimon. Majin and Terriermon walked through and jumped down onto the warm sand. The Trailmon's door closed and he sat there. In the mean time, Majin looked around. It was a sunny day. Nice, warm, and beautiful. Terriermon ran to the water. Majin walked up a bit more. He sat down and looked out in the water. Terriermon decided to sit next to him.
"I bet we'll get a battle." Majin said.
Terriermon nodded, "I'm almost certain."
"At any moment." Majin responded.
"Battles has ups and downs." Terriermon then said.
They sat and relaxed.
Vn70072 - November 1, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
Sadly, their relaxation did not last for long. The waters became suddenly turbulent, the shadow of something vile twisting and surging beneath the surface just offshore. A menacing growl gurgled through the water, whatever it was, had come to kill.
A split second later a volley of bullet-like ice shards shot from the water, directed in an indiscriminate barrage at the visitors.
Ishimaru - November 2, 2007 09:43 PM (GMT)
Majin looked up at them and reacted fast. He pulled a card out. Terriermon stood ready. "Digi-Modify! Fly-Away Activated!" Majin shouted, scanning the card. Terriermon got the ability to fly and he shot up in the air and over to Majin, picking him up with all his might. Terriermon had gotten Majin back a few good feet away from the ice shards, then landed.
"What is that?" Terriermon asked, staring out towards the water.
"I have no clue. But obviously a digimon." Majin stated. They stood ready for a fight.

The rippling shadow did not emerge, still lurking in the waves just offshore. Then for a brief moment the creature's head rose above the waves, the narrow, pointed head of serpent, with numerous teeth and a black metal skull plate beneath which red scales covered its body.
"Dark Stream!" His jaw opened wide, blasting forth a quantity of seawater as though from a firehose at Terriermon. But the water was not the pure emerald of the ocean, but a vile, murky purple as though it was twisted and poisonous, likely to melt rather than soothe anything it contacted.
Ishimaru - November 6, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
(( Oh yes! Sorry. I forgot. I will remember though. ^ ^ ))
Majin wanted to know what exact digimon this enemy was. Although, it was hidden in the water, Majin was trying to guess at it through the cards he had, in the real world. Seeing the water was a murky, and vile purplish color, Majin was becomming worried. He needed a card but he had two of Fly-Away. Which is just what he needed for small Terriermon to get away.
"Fly-Away! Activate!" Majin shouted, scanning the card again. Terriermon flew over and out of the way of the beam. But now, Majin had no Fly-Away cards so Terriermon might be open to any attacks. He had to get bigger. "Digivolve!" Majin called out. The sound of his voice and the word told Terriermon just what to do. A green light shined and before anyone really realized it, Terriermon was now Gargomon.
"Gargo Lasers!" Gargomon started firing rapidly at the underwater lurker.

Vn70072 - November 8, 2007 04:11 AM (GMT)
The energy bullets played across Waru Seadramon's still-exposed helm, sparking as they made little impact against the thick armor. The sea serpent gave a growling hiss, tracking the airborne mammal.
"Thunder Javelin!" electricity crackled along the digimon's bladelike horn, building into a lethal charge that discharged like a lightning bolt at his foe.
Ishimaru - November 11, 2007 02:21 PM (GMT)
Gargomon just blankly looked, not knowing what to do. In an instant, he jumpped to the side and started in a dash. But it was a bit late, the attack hit some of his left leg and he fell face first. He tried to recover. Standing up, he limped, and stared out at the digimon's head, or what was out of the water. Majin couldn't even think, seeing Gargomon hurt. More bullets were fired off but more towards the right side of the digimon, to maybe find a weaker spot.
Vn70072 - November 12, 2007 08:21 PM (GMT)
Waru seadramon shrank partially beneath the waves, leaving nothing but his armored head exposed. The energy bullets pelted the armor and a few hit below the water line and struck less-armored scales, but it was going to take a lot more to bring down the likes of this graceful predator.
The serpent rose from the water again, further this time until roughly a quarter of his long slender body was exposed above the waves. His mouth opened wide. A shimmering mist appeared among his many fangs, like breath on a cold winter's day. "Evil Icicle!" a trio of sharp, icy javelins shot from his mouth, aimed at the Gargomon on shore.
Ishimaru - November 14, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
Gargomon and Majin bothed looked shocked. This digimon seemed giant with even the only quarter of his body showing. But it's not what the size was. It was it's attack flying at them. Majin grabbed a card, hopping for the right one. "Digi-Modify!" Majin scanned the card, desperate to protect Gargomon and from more then a hurt leg. "Lightning Agility! Activate!" and with those words, Majin had made Gargomon go faster. Luckily, the car'ds affect remained the battle.
Next, Majin thought of a quick attack. He pulled out two cards this time. "Digi-Modify!" he whispered. He scanned both cards. "Rapid Arrow Activate!" he said. He had two of that card, which he scanned. A card that guaranteed 20 points of damage, but when two are shot, 40 points. Gargomon felt safe for the moment the arrows were shot. He knew that if the digimon was down 40 points, it'd help him maybe in the long run. Quickly wanting to continue the attack, Gargomon balanced and shot more Gargo Lasers.

Vn70072 - November 16, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
The arrows shot forth and embedded themselves in Waru Seadramon's exposed belly. They were followed moments later by the dozens of stinging rounds from the adult attacker's gun-arms. But while the wounds were a step to defeating the gigantic sea serpent, they were only that, and there was still a long ways to go.
The dragon shifted in the waves, sinking ever so slightly as it leaned its upper body forward and leveled its head toward Gargomon. "Strange Mist!" a veil of purple fog spread forth from Waru Seadramon, quickly enveloping the entire area in thick mist. Though the sea monster was still visible to Majin's partner and vice-versa, it would likely make the attack to come harder to spot in time.
In a flash Waru Seadramon's tail burst forth from the waves just offshore, lancing toward Gargomon with the intention of seizing and wrapping him up in its vicelike coils.
Ishimaru - November 17, 2007 03:22 AM (GMT)
Majin could no longer see, nor keep track of the fight. He had to just hope to be safe himself and try to give Gargomon cards. Using his hearing sense, Majin could tell the digimon had moved some part from the water, hearing water splashing down on water. Gargomon could see but was getting ditzy from the pain in his leg. He made out what was a tail that seemed to be coming towards him. He used the lightning agility and moved farther and farther away from the tail. But it was nothing. The bullets didn't do much. However, would it do more if tripled the attack power? Gargomon raised up. "Scan the trinity card!" He shouted.
Majin heard his partner's cry for the card. He quickly found it, "Digi-Modify! Trinity Attack Activate!" scanning, gave Gargomon's attack power triple the force. A barrage of bullets could be heard.
Name: Trinity Attack
Number: R24
Type: Single Target
Duration: Remainder of the battle
Effect: Triples the affected Digimon’s attack power.
Vn70072 - November 21, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
"Strange Mist!" the sea serpent hissed again, the fog growing more intense to the point where he was not visible through it. Though this also robbed him of the ability to see his opponents. it would force Gargomon to come much closer in order to see Waru Seadramon well enough to shoot at him.
But it did nothing for the already-incoming bullet barrage, which was actually painful rather than stinging as the energy rounds blasted his crimson scales. But the cool seawater felt comforting across his wounds as the sea monster sank beneath the waves again, leaving only enough exposed so his eyes remained on the surface. He did not attack for the moment, biding his time and awaiting his enemy's next move.
Ishimaru - November 22, 2007 04:56 PM (GMT)
Majin was out of cards that would actually be helpful in the mist. With nothing, he felt like he failed Gargomon in helping him in the battle. However, Gargomon wasn't done and they both weren't dumb. The digimon never seemed to move quite much after the last hit. Who needs sight all the time? So they had one last idea. But he did heard a bit of noise.
"Gargo Pellets!" Gargomon shouted, shooting another barrage of his bullets where Waru Seadramon was last spotted but a bit lower and more towards the water.
Vn70072 - November 25, 2007 06:19 PM (GMT)
The water, scales, and thick fog combined to offer the sea monster decent protection even from Gargomon's powered-up bullets. After a moment's pause, the War Seadramon slipped beneath the waves with barely a whisper. Nearing the surface again on Gargomon's flank, he stretched his tail out behind him, easily fifty feet in the opposite direction from where his head was, and slammed it up and down in the water, churning the waves.
His head broke through the surface, the mist hiding the combatants from one another. But, it seemed likely Gargomon would immediately open fire upon the sound of the splashing tail, inflicting little damage but leaving himself open for a counterattack.
Ishimaru - November 27, 2007 11:09 PM (GMT)
Hearing the splash, Gargomon stayed still. Majin, however, didn't. He quickly re-went through his cards to see if he had anything good. To his luck, he found doubles again. It seemed somewhat perfect. "Digi-Modify! Scattergun Activate!" Majin said. He scanned the doubles.
Gargomon recieved guns. Both looked like a old-fashion three-shot gun. He fired them both. He hoped atleast two or more would atleast hit.
{Card}
Name: Scattergun x2
Number: U58
Type: Weapon
Duration: Remainder of the battle/Until used
Effect: One of the user's Digimon gains an old-fashioned, three-shot shotgun. Usually at least one shot will hit an unprotected Digimon, dealing 20 points of damage. The weapon lasts until all the shots are fired
Vn70072 - December 2, 2007 06:35 PM (GMT)
Unfortunately, Waru Seadramon was anything but unprotected, his scaly hide, the churning waves, and the curtain of fog combining together. A handful of the shot pellets struck him, but the accuracy and power of the attack was so drastically reduced that Gargomon might as well have shot spitwads.
A powerful burst of lightning suddenly shot out through the fog, aimed straight at the muzzle flashes and sounds of gunfire. But, the deep saver's attack had exposed him as well, so in the event Gargomon managed to recover in time, he might have a clear location on his enemy.
Ishimaru - December 6, 2007 12:07 AM (GMT)
Majin and Gargomon, alike, could not think of any plans with cards. So, not hearing any orders from Majin, Gargomon moved down the shore away from Majin and shot more rounds of pellets. No card Majin had could help right now, and it was killing him on the inside to know he couldn't help.
Vn70072 - December 16, 2007 05:34 AM (GMT)
The bullets whizzed through the mist, cutting tiny spirals and whorls in the fog. But their impact was again minimal. The few rounds that hit elicited no more than a hiss of mild pain.
"Maelstrom!" the sea serpent roared. Teeth glinting like daggers, the digimon's jaw dropped open. Setting his sights upon the continuing muzzle flashes from Gargomon's futile, unguided assault, jets of purple water shot forth from his maw, a twisting, tangling maelstrom of water with the impact force of a Semi truck blazing toward his target
Ishimaru - December 16, 2007 03:41 PM (GMT)
Gargomon heard WaruSeadramon say something, though faint. He could start to see shadows. An attack must have been issued. From before, the lightning agity that remains for the remainder of the battle, it was lucky that Gargomon had it. He ran away from Majin again, then when he thought he was good, he ran back towards the awaiting trailmon. Shooting bullets as he went for another try.
Vn70072 - December 22, 2007 03:18 AM (GMT)
The greater distance did very little for the gun-toting rabbit's impact, Waru Seadramon rose slightly higher in the water when he realized the danger presented was minimal, sending waves splashing outward as he did so. Again, the muzzle flashes in the mist told the wild digimon exactly where he needed to aim. "Thunder Javelin!" he bellowed, another burst of lightning jumping from his horn towards the retreating adversary.
Ishimaru - December 22, 2007 02:24 PM (GMT)
It came to fast for Gargomon. He was hit and it threw him far. It had so much force that Gargomon went through atleast two trees. But luckily, stop at the third, but almost breaking it. He back was in pain. His leg was slightly. Majin rushed to find him but the mist was to dense for him. "Darnit! Gargomon!" Majin shouted. Gargomon reverted to Terriermon just when Majin finally found him.
It seemed over, but Terriermon struggled to get away from Majin, who was about to break down with some tears. They waited to see the sea-snake's next move.
Vn70072 - December 25, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
The result of Ishimaru's partner's de-evolution was a likely unexpected bonus. With the bunny's nonstop gunfire now finally ended, Waru Seadramon was unable to pinpoint the location of either intruder in his territory.
The air was split with a sound like metal scraping against metal, a roar of triumph from the perfect-level Digimon. Those who had dared step into his territory seemed to have stood down. So long as it remained that way, he'd have no reason to waste yet more of his energy fighting rather than hunting a more suitable meal.
Ishimaru - December 25, 2007 05:18 PM (GMT)
Majin and Terriermon stood up. "We're not done yet." Majin whispered. Terriermon grinned and opened his mouth. Green energy gathered. "Bunny Blast!" the rabbit-dog digimon's voice was heard and the little guy shot a single green-energy bullet. Of course, they knew it wouldn't do much. Terriermon was Child level. Majin needed to think....Fast!
Vn70072 - December 27, 2007 03:51 AM (GMT)
The smaller projectile whizzed by Waru Seadramon's head, a miracle it had come even that close. Its grating roar fell silent, living on only in an echo in the fog. The serpent slithered toward the shore, emerging into sight from the thinning fog bank.
Settings its vile red eyes on the boy and his battered partner, it was silent and still as stone for a moment. Then it emitted a rasping snarl, is if to say that it was in fact over, and that the intruders were no longer a threat. A split second later, Waru Seadramon abruptly withdrew beneath the waves and departed for deeper waters.
Majin and Terriermon might have been the ones left standing on the battlefield, but it was clear they'd lost this fight.

Majin was glad the fighting stopped, and specially that Terriermon was safe. "Phew. Thank god he left." Majin whispered. He stood up with Terriermon in his arms. "You used alot of energy. Let's get home and you can rest. We'll stock up on cards, too, for our next fight." Majin smiled but it was a small one. He entered the Trailmon with Terriermon and they went home.
Left.
