It does feel good to share here, that's for sure. There are soooo mannnny strangers on the official msg board. I like the feeling of closeness we have between ourselves and not as many rules to regulate us--just common courtesy and common sense, right?

Well, if you have the chance to see Brad on the CMT Tour, with Sara and Sugarland, you will have great entertainment!!! That is For Sure!

My friend, Sandy, and I met up there as hubby declined when the day of the concert arrived... He was still trying to get his body's clock back to feeling regular from the IN trip last Sun and Mon! My other travelin' friend, B., from the city came here and I drove her & I. The fan who took hubby’s ticket came from another city by herself. She was thrilled to share the experience, too. Champaign is an hr and a half east and a tad south of where I live. It's about the same distance for Sandy coming from the southwest to the northeast. Also, we met a few other IL fans that we know and visited between sets, too.

Sugarland sang 6 songs, Sara did 10... It was all really good and the students were standing most of the time all around us. So we'd sit a while and view the large screens, and then stand for a bit. The music Was mostly the type you'd stand to enjoy. Everyone really performed "Perfectly"...
I did know beforehand about Sara's cut foot from her "Cheatin'" video shoot, but she didn't let on nor mention anything about it.

Brad was just so Right On...so Excellent. He carried his part of the show w/so much Energy. I don't know how much you want to know about the concert, 'cause I don't want to spoil the surprises for others since this is a new tour and setup. Maybe some of the particulars will have to be said in emails?! There were some funny happenings that you might not expect.

I will say this: His goatee was in that beginning stage again. Uckkky pooh. I don't go for that scraggly look... I really Do NOT want a m&g pic of him wearing that LQQK... but I know I am probably in the minority here in that regard. LOL

Alison Krauss had a concert half way to the city where Brad played, so they didn't quite sell out his concert last nite, but it is a huge place, so I don't think he'd feel bad to know his fav. female singer put a crimp in his wallet this time. It was a hard choice for some fans to make between the two concerts!

No pics right now and don't think they will be very good as I was essentially seated 12 rows from the stage. I could go up a few times and get behind the 4th row that went across the aisle there. The four girls I had to ask to let me out each time were so gentle in spirit and accommodating. I have no clue how good any of these pics will be. It was just so different for me to not be up close with that digital camera.

Glad you had a good time MJ, Looks like I wont get a chance to see this leg of the tour :( , but never say never.
