They'res like 6 CFW's out there for 1.50.
No matter what, 2.71 has more security on it then 1.50..making it harder to play homebrew/iso/apps.

I can play a load of ISO's fine on 2.71....but what you said about the security will always be true........

it's for having 1.50 and 2.71 at the same time. no emulating. you can run 1.50 homebrew from the same menu that you run 2.71 umd's from.

I don't need this...I need iso emulation right from the XMB which isn't supported on any CFW yet (I think?) because the only thing I use my PSP for is UMDs and ISOs...I don't play that much HB anymore..

you can still use devhook with ths though.

I know but that means there's truly no point for this EXCEPT the recovery molde and 1.0 compatability..

did you know that while your devhooking a higher firmware, like 2.71, you press home+L/R to switch through your iso's?
which is just as good as having them accessible in the xmb.

Yup I've known that one lol...I wish there was a way to switch from ISO to UMD though..

I think there's a mod for devhook that has that option in the xmb, but I forgot where I saw it...

If I do this can I still use the Cheatdevice?

Are you on 1.5? CD can go up to 2.6 only.....So just devhook it........

i dono i went to psp updates and look at the installer thing and noticed that the full version was removed and the other one didnt work

edit: like all the programs on my PC, i just had to wait for it to load...

the install always gets stuck it say so in psp-hacks forum and u can go back to 1.5 hold r while bootin and its the second option i think and psp updates took it off because at the end of the isntall it says its to only be use on psp-hacks and another site it didnt say psp-updates

I just recently posted the outcome of my modded PSP in another post. It broke en route to my house because DHL is crap. I'm getting it fixed since the warranty covers shipping. In the meantime I just got another PSP which is a 2.60 TA-082.

I bricked my PSP using ThemePSP. I had a 'dirty' version of the 1.50 dump (the one from Freeplay) which caused the installed Theme to corrupt the font giving me the neverending blue screen of death. The theme initself is fine but since the 1.50 dump was unpure something unexpected happened while writing to the flash.

i used themepsp about 5 times without cleaning my FW...

Damm the postal trouble must be frustrating...........

well I dont have to worry about this I got 3 psp's 2 for vcs and one for 1.5 homebrew its all good i wouldn't get it anyways
