The PSP Devs over at Team FWi's have just released their "2.71 SE-C 3.01 SE Hybrid" Firmware. This firmware basically allows users to have all the benefits of Dark_AleX's 2.71 SE-C firmware as well as Firmware 3.01, which Sony released less than a month ago. Because of the tedious nature of combining firmware and the known issue of the lack of flash0 space on the PSP, you may encounter minor bugs while using, but the code has been under intense testing and most major bugs have already been ironed out. Team FWi's says you cannot brick your PSP while installing (3.01 SE Hybrid flashes to your PSP) because of SE-C used as the basework, but as with any flashing, take care while installing, make sure the battery is atleast 75% and keep the power cord in. Also, this only installs on a fresh copy of SE-C so if you have custom gameboots, prx's, or any other mods installed you must uninstall them and reinstall a clean copy of SE-C.
