* Remote Play has been added as a feature under NETWORK
* Online Instruction Manuals has been added as a feature under NETWORK
* Timed Recording has been added as a feature under RSS CHANNEL
* A visual player has been added as a feature under MUSIC
* 3-Speed Fast Forward and Fast Reverse has been added as a feature under MUSIC
* Camera has been added as a feature under PHOTO
* UMD Auto-Start has been added as a feature in System Settings under SETTINGS



Will you upgrade? It's up to you really, but if you have firmware 1.5, I highly reccomend to avoid the update since you lot like it alot. I'm on 2.81, so I'm not sure about myself, but even if hacks and shit come for 2.81, what's the point? There's nothing there for me, so I might as well upgrade.
What do you think?

i am not going to cuz i have 2 psps(i can keep one 1.5 and other what ever ) but if i didn't i guess it would need a REALLY REALLY REALLY good reason to upgrade

Yeah Im updating, 2.81 > 3.00 is a fair deal IMO

Well I might as well stay on 2.81 actually. Because the major feature, which is downloadble PS1 games, only works if you have a PS3...which is a problem.

1.) PS3 ain't out till March+ here
2.) I ain't getting one anyway...

Sony is working on system to allow PSP owners to download the PS1 title straight to their PSP, without having the PS3, just a hotspot, and its rumour'd to be comming out as soon as this christmas

"The big caveat, of course, is that you can only get these games right now by downloading them and then transferring them via your PlayStation 3 ... if you have a PlayStation 3. Sony has not finished the technology to directly download PSone games to PSP (it would require access to the newly-launched PlayStation Store, which only works with PS3 at the moment), so there is no way to directly get these games onto PSP just yet, nor is there a way to download them if you don't yet have a PS3. Sony is of course working on fixing this problem, with rumors of PSone-to-PSP direct downloads by Christmas. "

Ive just finish updating to 3.00, then UMD auto start off thing is really useful, and the Music visualisation thing is quite cool. But what I really need now is a PS3 (for remote play, and PS1 titles if they dont come out with somthing for the PSP before march next year) and the Chotto camera :D (is that comming out in England?)

Forget the camera, the resulution'll be bad... And plus, I bet there won't be any flash :P

Yeah I know it dosnt have any flash, neither does my phone, but its still somthing fun to play around with, anyhow I won't be that sorry, I never used any hombrew (other than the LCS cheat device, never got into devhook in a big way)

i downgraded to 1.5 once when i was on 2.6 i think homebrew was shit i could use it plus you have to upgrade for most games i had to for miami vice and that game was easy and sh*t plus i cant be asked with all the downloading
