Hi, people have been having problems with the prx cheat device, by the way sounds great!

alot of people including 'me' cant install the prx cheat device and renaming the stuff
because it can be hard for us noobs..

i was wondering if someone could make an 'exe' programme so the programme can do all the things thanx....

Are you using devhook and emulating a FW???

yer devhook on 2.71 but it seems hard, even if i do get it on do i just go to devhook and pick gta prx thing and it loads?

Yeah emulate a FW, then run LCS.

so go to devhook run lcs and the cheat device should just load on a save...

also dont get:To install:
Copy cheatdevice.prx X:dhkd to your PSP (Replace X: with the drive letter of your PSP)

dont get the x bit thanx mate...

X is jsut your

removeable drive(WHAT EVER IT IS;)

for your psp

the dh folder is a devhook folder its dh cuz thats the certain folder name in the psp.
and so on...

X is probally either E or F for you.

Its 'F' but where is x , to rename it.

OK, listen to me carefully:
Where it says:
X:/
^Thats what it says on my computer when your psps in, so for you it could be F or G.
Whats after this is normally F:/PSP so that means your PSP folder on your psp.
Now that you've under stood that this is what you do next.

Get the Cheatdevice.prx and copy it, then go onto your psp e.g My Computer>Removible Disk F>dh
once you have found the "dh" folder click that and you should see another 2 boxes (I hope you've got your firmwires there) you should see loads of boxes with things like '260' '271' now open the 260 one and click the kd folder inside that.
Then paste that Cheatdevice.prx there.

Its quite easy. Plug your PSP into your Computer thru USB. Either click on the little popup that came up selecting "View all Files". From there click on your DH folder, then your KD folder. Then drag/copy/paste your .prx there.

If there is no dialogue box that popups when you plug in your PSP, open up "MY Computer" (If you have a MAC, go screw yourself) open up your PSP Removable Disk then Locate the KD folder in the DH folder from there..

I've already made one and passed it onto Edison so I guess there's no harm giving it out here...

ive been trying to get this to work but it wont!!!
i have 2.71 SE-B" & i installed it manuall 1st then again with the .exe file but it just wont work!
do i need to go into my devhook?

this is for the lcs.prx right?

Hmm, many people have had this problem. They should update the readme for instructions for SE-B" users.

First of all, the exe installer wont work if your on SE-B". Its for users on 1.5 using Devhook to emulate 2.71 which works on the VCS UMD.

And install it. Included is the V.1 of the CD. The current version is 2.1A so if you want the new one, just replace the prx inside the iFlasher with the one on cheatdevice.com
