Title: CheatDevice 1.0d PRX for devhook!

New PRX version for use with DevHook! Works with any emulated firmware version. Works with the new patched US disk and the original US and UK disks. Sorry, the patched UK disk is not currently supported. See readme.txt for installation instructions. Some features are not implemented yet in the PRX version.

I converted LCS CheatDevice to a PRX for DevHook. A few features are disabled for now until they can be fixed. For the first time, it will be possible to use CheatDevice with multiplayer mode.
Current status for LCS disk versions:
US unpatched - working
UK unpatched - working
US patched - working
UK patched - not working, I don't have the disk |
Features currently disabled which will be fixed later in the VCS version:
- Battery/CPU speed
- Freeze everything
- Drive on walls
- Gather spell
- Hover cars

No this is just the Cheat Device for LCS, that will work on any emulated FW instead of up to 2.6......

It might be that IF everything goes to plan, then there will be a similiar version released.
I just hope its not the same cheats, i got really bored of those ones..

But even if they do have old cheats, it'll be like brand new cheats since it's a new game, and we'll be able to do more things with the same cheats.

the planning for a VCS CD has been in progress for a few days now, not much of the news about it actually makes it past gtaf.

SWEET! This is great news. Finally a Cheatdevice PRX. I do hope a CD is released for VCS depending on the firmware, but I refuse to use it until the game is completely beaten. CD ruins the experience rather quickly if the game is not completed.

this is good progress for edison, i hope vcs does use 2.71 so he can make one for it, then instead of just hover cars, we can have superman mode!!! like you jump then hold like X in the air for like a second, then you can go up and down, and forward!! woot i cant wait

mabe you could just change the way he stands when its stright up you tilt him sideways in the code and tehn make teh hover cars with no cars
i know taht sounds easy to some people but from the past things thats like impossible i hope it won't be this time around.

You need 1.5 because it runs as a PRX in devhook, unless what you are talking about is the firmware devhook is emulating.

Has anyone tried this in multiplayer mode yet...? You might be able to spawn Hunters and get a preview of the new VCS Hunter multiplayer mode...

You probably could make a car act like a hunter though. (unless there are no cars in mp?)

EC has the LCS .prx all ready to be ported to VCS. only cheat maker and screenshot will be available at first, and then the rest of LCS's cheats will be made to work with VCS.
and as far as pmg goes, I'll start working on the values as soon as I get the game.

I can't take any credit for the CheatDevice mate... All I can say is that a very cutdown version will be released (sooner rather than later) which will basically just be the Video Recorder and the CheatMaker... I assume this is because all the new locations need to be found for the other stuff and what better way to do that than to get the community to help...
I was waiting for the thumbs up that one would be made from Edison before I updated CheatSync and got that recently... You may notice an extra search field on the main site... :ph43r:
If Edison does what he was suggesting a few days ago there will be a very cool surprise relating to the user cheats...
Other than that, stay on your firmwares (I heard a reliable rumour VCS will require 2.81)... The new CheatDevice IS comming... :D

i just cant do it and im sure some others cant too...
i was wondering if someone could make an 'exe' programme so the programme can do all the things thanx....

Every one is saying how great this is the CD on PRX now for devhook em fw but has anyone actually tried it????? the fact of the matter is that it DOES NOT WORK on UMD or ISO i did everything added the lines tried on original non patched usa UMD just hangs after you start with devhook it doesnt even go to the 2.71 XMB but when u just edit the file pspbtcnf_game.txt then the xmb loads but it hangs after you launch the game UMD or ISO so i dont know what u all are talking about none of u appeared to have tried this thing........

You guys must be doing something wrong because it does work, i've used it loads...
Uninstall your DevHook and stick a fresh version on and then use my CheatDeviceInstall.exe program...

i guess i must be doing something wrong because i installed devhook fresh and used the installer program and still the same result does it have conflicts with vshex mods?????? maybe thats the problem i dont know
