Title: How would I install CheatSync?
Description: I can't find any help!

So,uh, I'm getting a PSP for my B-day, and I'm getting GTA: Liberty City Stories..

So, looking around the site, there seems to be lots of really cool stuff you can do with this, so, naturally, I want it!

1- How do I install it on my PSP? (Step by step would help!)
2- Do I need a custom firmware?

Thanks!

OH, wait!

This post says that I can install the cheat device on 2.0, 2.1, etc. PSPs!

Aren't those not custom firmwares?

yes you need a CFW, latest one should be good enough or you cans top at 3.52m33
as some users have had problems above that fw,

what kind of psp? is it a slim

also you dont install cheatsync, its a website

you need to install the cheatdevice
www.cheatdevice.com

then when you have a CFW and the cheatdevice install down load more cheats from
www.cheatsync.net/app

also its best if you have the psp, in-hand
so i wont tell ya step by step, till ya get it
we need to know a few things about the actual psp first

no

that uses old savedgame exploits
unless you buy your psp second hand theres no chance it will be under 2.6 at the moment its 4.01, so alot has changed since then

basically wait till ya get your psp
once we know what FW your psp is
well downgrade then upgrade it to a cfw
and continue to upgrade the cfw till ya get the latest one

as for some fw you cant make a huge jump, you ahve to sometimes go up to a certain fw before installing a new one

You don't need time machine to install sunshine customs!

You can use irshell (a less complexed resolution)

If you don't have Irshell then check out my tutorial on vcs general discussion section on this forum. This will show you how to install irshell on 3.90m33-2 or if you have updated to 4.01 m33-2 my guide will also suffice.

Anyway unzip your sunshine custom download, then install the two resulting files, sunshine custom and sunshine custom % into ms0:/psp/common

now enable irsautoboot.prx under vsh in u're recovery menu.

From Irshell go to ms0:/psp/common/sunshine custom/luaplayer.prx

From here, run luaplayer.prx-press x, it will ask if you wanna run, then just press x or O

Then there you have it!
