ok

at the moment i cant get freeview because im to close to the tv antenna but i know that the reason why i cant get freeview is because the analogue signal is sofficating the digital

and im just wondering if there might be some possibly extreme tips in order to get freeview

eg something that can block out analogue or boost digital

BTW ppl who live just down the street from me can get it and are getting it from the same antenna



mmm the divis and black mountain how pretty much the same mountain and i think mines is pointed towards the black mountain one so maybe a little hit of the antenna
and i might bebale to get thoose channels

that 2012 thing is only saying that in 2012 everything will be completely switched over to digital signals, eliminating analog.
not that you'll have to wait that long for the service you're looking for.

idk what freeview is though... like a satellite tv service?
if it operates with a satellite receiver then you most likely have it pointed in the wrong direction.

but if your neighbors can get it and you can't, you may just be in a sort of "blind spot"
like, if you're listening to the radio in the car, and you can hear it in perfectly fine in one area, but not the next, but then again in another, and again not in the next, just repeating that pattern?

the signal doesn't get complete coverage of the areas, so your neighbor could receive it, but you may not.

you'll have to wait until they actually bring the service to your area and get complete coverage over the surrounding area before you may get a signal.

Freeview is a free digital service only available to houses with digital ariel
so you need a satellite dish (sky or virgin) to be able to get it do you have sky or virgin??
They also sometimes only give aerials to one half of a street

I've got sky so there's no reason for any digital aerial

ive got sky+

but ive got a sony bravia with freeview in my home

also you dont need a digital dish you need a reciever
