The time has come... To go HD BABY.

Ok i need some help looking.. I've checked around some places and I need some help .. I'm new to hd..

So anyway.. Theres other problems though.. I need it:

Under $600 usd.

HDTV TUNER!!! NOT NOT NOT NOT N-O-T HDTV READY.
(I've been told to make sure lol.)

I would like the biggest, clearest i can get with these things. but i'm not exactly sure where to start..

I have seen some rather nice things from newegg.com. This one looks rather nice.

Black or silver not really an issue mainly because I have a silver stereo, a black ps3. With a black desktop and a silver laptop.. lol so it doesn't really matter.

Oh. Please no ebay. Only because this is suppose to be like a christmas present from my mom so shes going to buy it later.. So it can't really have a time limit..

So all your eh.. 1080p or i or 700 something.. Eh what ever.. All you TV people HELP please.

I was thinking the same yesterday. I've been looking about and I want to go HD to. I will only use it for PS3 though so. I think, they will make it all HD eventually. I mean it has to change right? So... I would go with something that can broadcast 1080p hdcp or hdtv. you want both those formats for the tv. Because, your local cable company (if you get a HD box) you can broad cast hdcp to your hdtv. But, it always helps to have hdcp and hdtv. So like I said I've been looking also. It's a big decision on which one to buy.

This is the one I've been looking at: Check this out! Hope this helps?

under $600?
target has a 2-day sale with a 37" OLEVIA for $550.
it's part of their black friday sales. our store sold out of it within hours yesterday morning, but some stores may still have it (doubt it). the sale ends today though.

but to get a nice one, there's a HD tv out with a built in blu-ray player for like $600.
it's a real sleek design, and like 22", which is perfect for a bedroom or something.

Damn. Hm. Yeah i don't really need anything built in like a dvd player or bluray or anything because i have the ps3 for that. But i would like a rather good size with the best quility and junk. You know what mean.

that'd be such a waste.
the sony bravia is nice, but there are cheaper alternatives.
a philips would be considerably cheaper, but still has a fantastic picture.

I very much doubt they actually have done that (on purpose), they'd be sued out of business in a second.
