i have been able to play online with no problems 3 nights ago a rented COD3 to play and that worked fine online when i brought it back i decided i was bored of RFOM so i downloaded the map pack 1 since i downloaded the map pack last night i have been unable to play online i keep on getting
80028ED6 and 000A0000 error messages ive googled a bit and have found out there are others especially RFOM users , i have tried resetting my router and internet config on the ps3 and i have no luck
has anyone else run into this problem before also i can sign into Playstation Network on the xmb including the store but i just cant play online games

mmm it sames others had problems with belkin routers even though mines is phillips i think the reason why it wasnt working was possibly dues to the updates because the map packs were loaded and the new fw was too it might be possible that it ate up memory and it was there though timing out or receiving a bad signal , so i chased my little bro of the pc and it sames to work now but im still not that happy as theres always 1 or more people on the internet in my house ... but then it might have been the ps3 just going crazy
so it working now , and if it happens again ill post it and see if i can figure out the problem incase others have the same problem
anyway thanks

I've had no issues what so ever with downloading or playing online games for that matter as far as I know they all work fine. Try your 2.00 update alot of people had issues with that. It could be related?

R:Fom has had some pretty bad connections problems but most of that is solved now. What you could do is call sony and tell them those code numbers and they will actually tell you why your getting the error. of course this doesn't always help lol. But i'm not quite sure why it isn't well.. Wasn't working.
