Title: SW:RS Cheat Device
Description: Done!
Durka Durka Mahn - October 31, 2007 10:31 PM (GMT)
THANK YOU WATERBOTTLE FOR YOUR HELP!
Hey guys! Finally finished up my first version of the Cheat Device for Star Wars: Renegade Squadron.
This Cheat Device will allow you to change your weapons in-game without having to make new cheats over and over!
Each weapon slot has its own option on the menu and you just use Left and Right to change each option.
In the future I hope to add more Interactive Cheats, maybe a teleport function, and will definitely be adding more stuff as you guys find it. Credit will be given to anyone who's cheats I use in the Cheat Device.
Here's the download:
http://www.themaxone.net/SWRSHACKER.zipRead the ReadMe.txt file for instructions on installation.
To bring up the menu, hit L+R+UP, to hide it, hit L+R+DOWN.
Thanks for reading and/or downloading!

I'm getting this game now, but you need 3.71 to play it?
I'm on 3.52 and don't really want to go to 3.71

are you using an iso?
if so which one? the multi-5 or the US one?
the multi-5 will have the option to select 5 languages, the US one should be just english.

ddm, I'm putting the game on now, and I'll look into it.
there's a problem with cwcheat for me though, and I cant' search differences. so I need to get that fixed before I can begin looking for the player pointer.
I actually, really hate cwcheat. it doesnt' display the hex in 16 bytes at a time, and doesn't display the end offset up top, so figuring out exactly where you are is a bitch. and I've never been able to get it to actually execute a cheat properly.
If I can get an older version of it to work then I'll be set to go, the older version, with the blue screen was far easier to handle.

I'll look into it, I never heard of nitepr.
I found it on qj and it looks ok, I just need an easy in-game hex editing tool.
