If you don't have a 1.5 dump, message me on MSNM, my name is DDM_MAB@hotmail.com :D Ok first things first. Make sure you have the Eloader, 1.5 DUMP (from a 1.5 user), and the DOWNDATER Eboot from QJ.net or somewhere. Now, let's get started. Preparing- Step 1 Verifying your PSP is NOT a TA-082 -Open the UMD Drive and take the UMD out -Look at the very top right hand corner where the TEAL metal is -If there are gold letters that look like this-  Then DO NOT GO ON!!! OR YOU WILL BRICK! -Also, make sure you have enough room o your memory stick if you have a 32MB memstick. Do this by formatting and putting ONLY the files needed to downgrade on your PSP or you WILL BRICK. Step 2 Formatting your Memory Stick *This step is just to make safety alot high, I suggest you do this. If you don't want to lose data then back up your PSP! -Go to System Setting one the PSP's Home -Choose "Format MemStick" -Hit "OK" Step 3 Getting everyhting in the proper places Connect your PSP using a USB cable to your computer -Open the DOWNDATER (1.5 Dump) .rar or .zip file -Move the ENTIRE folder (NOT the .rar or .zip, but the DOWNDATER FOLDER) To the ROOT of your PSP (The ROOT is the VERY FIRST folder when you connect your PSP.) Next Files- -Go to your PSP's GAME folder, and make a new folder called "DOWNDATERTEST" -Open the file you got from QJ.net and put the eboot file in the new DOWNDATERTEST folder in your GAME folder Next Files- Put the eLoader in your SAVEDATA folder Step 4 Downgrading Time! :happy: -Take your PSP off the USB -Start up GTA -On the eLoader choose the ONLY thing that SHOULD be on your list (if it isnt, reformat [Step 2]) NOW DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FUCKING PSP! IT TAKTES ABOUT 1 OR 2 MINUTES TO DOWNGRADE SO IF YOU TURN IT OFF/RUN OUT OF POWER YOU WILL BRICK! IT WILL COME UP AT A BLUE SCREEN SAYING "Hit O" So, hit O! Now, if you get an error saying "Cannot Read Disk" take your battery out for 5 minutes and you should be ok. Also, connect your PSP to your computer through USB and delete those :oops: ass text files in your root, they take up ALOT of space. IMPORTANT-Before you can play GTA and many other games, you HAVE to get DevHook and read my tutorial on how to emulate 2.5. :mates: You downgraded! Good Job! Welcome to the Homebrew world of 1.5! |
