thats cool :D its so helpful
vettefan88 - October 20, 2007 10:52 PM (GMT)
why does freestyle keep getting the credit for finding the wheel addresses?
I found them waaaay before e did, and even included the atv address in a code months before he made his tool. and months before I released the atv I had an image of a sandking with large tires.
I had the tires address within the first week CD was released.

but now someone needs to find the actual wheel address, not tire size. i mean like rims or whatever, so we can change them

impossible im pretty sure
ALSO I DONT WANT TO GET INVOLVED SO IM STICKING BOTH YOUR NAMES ON IT OK
vettefan88 - October 20, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
that's fine.
but I don't know why he keeps telling people he found them, I remember on some google chat thing he told me how he made his tool for wheel sizes, and I told him how I had found them already a loong time ago, but it was good how he made it on his own.
he probably found them by using my atv cheat to get the atv address, and then it's simple to find each other car, they're clearly outlined by text. if I hadn't posted my cheat he wouldn't of "found" any of them.
sooo lame.

Hate to bug in but I didn't find them that way actually. and I didn't know they we're outline by text?? I did it a totally different way. But that doesn't matter now there out and people like them it doesn't matter who did them just that there getting used.
vettefan88 - October 21, 2007 02:52 AM (GMT)
they are outlined by text.
right below every wheel address is the name of the car.
the offset included in the cheats I released right after CD came out will work on every car, just go through the hex looking at the names of cars. real easy. and they were found the first week of cd, yet you've been getting credit for them because you've been whoring your tool out. so everyone began assuming it was you, you used my cheat to find them.
and if you didn't, then explain how you found them?

yeah but you might remember that that was lcs and this is vcs its something to do with the tyres are part of the car model or something
vettefan88 - October 22, 2007 02:03 AM (GMT)
I'm sure the rims could be changed, but I think the default.ide now points to the actual model instead of just the model id. So the wheel address changes through the hex so the pointer changes. the pointer to the model id may be in the car itself.
I'll look a little later on and see what I can find.
