both the m33 and OE firmwares are by dax. 3.71M33 is the latest though.

I'm still on 3.40 OE.
Havent bothered upgrading, due to there being no good new features and no games that require it.

im on 3.03OE-C does me fine apart from one major problem that is wlan doesnt work in lua so im thinking on upgrading to 3.40 OE to finish some projects
