it shouldnt be a brick

use the pandora battery search it on qj but if you cant find someone with a working hb psp then send it to only and flame there asses off

i also got a brick upgrading to 3.03 it said it was 100% completed and to press x to manually restart and it bricked stupid console

anyway the pandora battory fixed that (its an app which unbricks your psp made by the noobs)

vettefan88 - September 27, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
it may not be related to the firmware. something mechanically inside the psp could of went. maybe something shorted, and fried it...

Thats a hardware malfunction. If your not getting the reoccuring "BSOD" then its not a firmware brick

If I were to delete everything in my flash I wouldn't get a BSOD, but it wouldn't be a hardware malfunction either.

Thats because you've deleted all the files. If you were to just delete one, or turn off your psp during updating, you'll get the "Corrupted" message.

well, yeah, you deleted everything.
if this happened while he was on the internet browser, then the worst that could of happened would be the browser files getting corrupted. not deletion of the entire flash.

This really sounds like a hardware issue. something inside the psp fried.

also, l1lc, I'm pretty sure my psp had a blue screen, not a red screen...

Vii - September 29, 2007 09:03 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Blue Screen is when you see the "Your settings are courpted Press O" screen. I've never seen that red screen..

L1LC - September 30, 2007 12:36 AM (GMT)
the red screen of death is UBER rare

did you got that from your friend?
mine was always blue screen or white or something

maybe your friend lied.

vettefan88 - September 30, 2007 02:24 AM (GMT)
after looking at that pic, you can see that it doesn't say to press circle. so it's not something the psp can't "fix" itself. probably missing a critical .prx

I think fw 3.71 is a problem, sometimes when I go online it freezes, but it still works after I turn it on..
