Title: Running Cheatsync in M33 3.52

megabenman - September 19, 2007 03:01 AM (GMT)
To make a long story short, I accidentally upgraded my past 2.6, so I downgraded it and upgraded it to M33 3.52. But, Cheatsync on Liberty City Stories doesn't work, it just tells me that the data is corrupted (like it did before the the downgrade). Why does it do this? I thought M33 was supposed to enable homebrew, even though it is based on 3.52, which is past 2.6. How can I get Cheatsync for liberty city stories to work on M33 3.52?

Ah, your problem is that the CheatDevice won't run on that high of a firmware.

You need DevHook in order to play it like that.

Can you give me tips on how to get devhook working, and what version to use? I've tried running LCS in 1.22 but it says that the game cannot be opened.

I tried to install Devhook 0.42 (because it ran firmware 2.50) but even after all the steps it still comes up with the error saying that the file could not be opened. I thought because M33 also uses the 1.50 kernel (right?) that 1.50 Devhook would work but apparently not.... Am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks.
