Firstly you need to open a new flash document


Now, i will explain what you see before you.

1)your time line, you will never open a new flash document and not use it
2) your workspace, this is your view port. you can draw outside of this but you will only see the things inside this.
3)library when you create movie clips and buttons and graphics (which will be covered later) they will go here.
4)this is the size of your workspace
5)the color of your background, dont feel like drawing a square the size of the workspace? then just change this color!
6)Fps, how many frames the movie will play in one second. in your time line there are unlimited slots to put frames, (although you have to add the frames you use)
7) this is all the tools you have to create your next work of art!

this is just the basics, and there is definetally more to come!
and im at school so ill do more later!

I have this program.. i um... eh.. Borrowed it.. yeah thats it.. :D

And have seen some tuts on it but eh i can't really do anything.. So i would LOVE for you to add tut's and info on the things you do.

I might make a few tuts too, I can do basically what he's doing.
