I just saw that. WOW. MGS has an amazing soundtrack, but i didnt know it was that beautiful..

the both seemed like dull songs. but hell, add an orchestra to anything and it'll make it sound "epic"

the MGS theme lacked any decent percussion. and what they did have consisted mainly of the cymbal. was the song meant to lack any sort of bass? I couldn't hear any, and the song felt really incomplete. nothing seemed to hold it together.

the halo theme, had good percussion work, and the piano was nice,but I didn't care much for the brass and woodwinds. it wasn't that they were bad, I just didn't like there part of the song.

I much prefer the music in Halo. Play Halo with the sound off and you'll be amazed how different of an experience it is.
The music really does make the experience that much better. Halo has some of the most beautifully orchestrated music I've ever heard.

The Orchestrated version made it sound like crap. The Harry Gregson track was so much better. But anything related to the PS3 is god to you...............

I have the original version on my comp. Infact I have every single track from the MGS series.

That's a lame responce to use when someone says something negative about your work.
When we say if a game that comes out is shit, we know we can't making anything near as good as it, but as what it is (a game), it ain;t really that good especially with all the fuss.
You were mkaing a big fuss of it and in the end I didn't think it was all that great.
That was feedback right there. Giving you suggestions on how to improve it. I didn't say "it was complete shit", cos what good would that do?
I said it was random, so I can express myself, but also give you something to do to improve it later on.

Just because someone says something negative about your work, it isn't an excuse to get pissed off at the guy and say stupid things like "Oh, I bet you can't do better!". You take it as feedback and work on it to improve the video, and just maybe I'll like it afterwards.

Yeah, if I put it harshly then it would have been stuff like "It's complete shit", which is doesn't help at all.
So I might as well put it softly and give you some advice.

I think that is constructive actually. You may interpret it another way, but to me "random" is just something that you don't expect and seems to be something that is put together without very clear structure or order. Maybe next time you add a bit of depth and make the video get somewhere and get to a point?
That just seemed like a bunch of guys shooting, some trucks driving around, and a distracting camera that seems to catch some dodgy angles.

It was a straightforward car chase, how could you not see that? It's not difficult for anyone too...

Its not the easiest thing to film something even close to this. The first 22 seconds took 3 days to film and another day to edit. Really difficult stuff. If you think it sucked so much that it was complete and utter shit, then yeah.. really would love to see what you could come up with.. It's extremely difficult.
