If rumors and speculations hold true, Sony's monster PlayStation 3 is getting a good chunk of exclusive titles. In fact, Stunt from PS3Forums went through all the trouble of compiling what games are expected to hit the PS3 along with some unconfirmed yet highly feasible entries. All 87 of them.

Plenty on the list are supposed to be in development, but info is either scarce or non-existent. Worth noting are David Jaffe's three exclusives in the works after branching out from Sony to make his own game company. He defined one of the mystery games as "medium to hardcore in terms of gameplay and will focus heavily on multiplayer."

Three unnamed games are also posted under Namco Bandai's banner, spanning over different genres. Quantic Dream appears on the list with two upcoming video games, namely Heavy Rain and an unknown project that could very well be Omikron 2. Developer Reflections is also expected to deliver another installment in their driving game series in form of Driver 5.

Timed exclusives were included, like MMORPG The Agency, Free Radical's nectar-inducing Haze, and Epic Games' much anticipated Unreal Tournament 3. Pretty much every confirmed or even dated games are present, not missing giants such as Final Fantasy XIII, FF Versus XIII, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid Online, among many others.

UT3 is a timed exclusive on PS3, so we get it eventually.

And bare in mind that exclusive games are nothing if they ain't good. We'll just have to wait and see which ones are actually worth playing.

87 exclusives is a lot, but how spaced out will these releases be?
34 games are reported to be coming to the ps3 between the later half of 07, and first half of 08.
and that's 39 total, not 39 exclusives.
so, unless the next couple years are filled with mainly exclusives, it'll most likely take 3-4 years to complete that list.

now, sure exclusives are fun, but the 360, too, has it's share.
I was unable to find an exact list, but I'd be pretty positive that it would rival that of the ps3 list, and maybe even beat it.

and, of course, I have an example to back this up.

360 games waiting to be released: 49 (as of e3)

PS3 games waiting to be released: 39 (as of e3)

so, when you remove all bias from the situation, and look at only the numbers you can clearly see that the 360 will be receiving atleast 10 more exclusives over the ps3 in the coming up year. and before someone goes and says it may not be 10. the 360 has 10 more games coming out. so if the 360 and ps3 shared 20 of those games the ps3 would have 19, and the 360 would have 29, the number will always work out to 10 more.


really, putting all of your exclusives in one big list does look like a lot, but again, it's all your exclusives in one big list.

Why must you go out of your way to say the 360 is better?

Looking at the two lists, PS3's list is alot more exciting.

Only two games i like on the 360 list, Bioshock and Mass effect.

MGS4, Little Big Planet, MGS Online, GT5 Prologue, Warhawk and The Agency make up for that.

Well that's fair enough, since that's your own personal taste.

Maybe all those games (the 5 or so vii listed) make up for like one game (that being halo 3) Halo will probably sell as much as heavenly sword and shit I cant think of another game worth buying... (which I don't say to start shit, I literally cant think of a game that sold WELL) I think that the pre-orders have made more money than resistance alone (not sure on the factoid though so don't take it to the grave) And it is a fact that the 360 has more exclusives and titles coming out, admitted by 9 of 10 sony fans. 9 of 10 microsoft people will admit that the ps3 has better hardware than the 360. But microsoft is working on that now. Out of that list of 360 these are the ones that people will be excited to play, and or will sell well.

So god dammit if the sony trolls are going to start talking shit about the 360, dammit I will defend... Nothing anything says or does can make me dislike my 360 or the ps3(which I get on christmas). Which i am getting soley for home and blu ray player. Might pick a few games up just to play em.

Probably? Dude, it's the most pre-ordered game of all time, and more people have pre-ordered Halo 3 than the number of people who bought any game on PS3 to this day.
Halo 3 is set to be the best selling game of all time, and no PS3 game announced so far has anywhere close to a chance in hell of beating it.

Well, that may be true, but I haven't seen the up to date fact sheet on pre orders I know like 2 weeks ago it hit the 1 million pre orders. And is expected to hit more than spiderman in sales on the first day. and I think by the end of the first week might outsell halo 2 sales. They estimated that they are going to sell more halo 3's than they have xboxs in the long run. I would however still like to debate on a podcast and or interview with vii and or another Ps3 fanatic. Just to debate and point out flaws and things about the two consoles.

This was the most hyped and talked about game from the day it was announced with the E3 06 trailer, and still the most hyped and talked about game today.

In my mind Halo is and will be great. I mean the beta was awesome even in a stripped down bare naked version of halo 3. And I can't imagine how it will be now. With all the videos i have seen It looks unbelievable. My beef with Killzone doesn't go to console wars or company, I really dislike that game. People thought halo was overhyped, which to some extent is. But I don't hate it for no reason or because it overly hyped. I hate it for its originality. Just like killzone 1, it didn't bring much "new" to the table. As at the time, was a shitty game anyway, which didn't sell well. I can't imagine playing many FPS's on ps3. I tried black but it played better on my xbox. I loved my ps2, and before it got stolen I played it alot. (probably not as much as my xbox, mainly because of halo 2) I know I'm getting a bit off topic, but hey thats how I roll. Anyway to the point. Too me, I don't see littlebigplanet as a 60 dollar game, kinda like shadowrun for the 360. I LOVE shadowrun, but its multiplayer ONLY and not many maps. Little big planet looks like something that should be on the xbox live arcade or something... Thats just my opinion. And I'm not going to start with the GT series, because I will really get fired up then, I HATE that series more than almost any game/series all together. MGS4, seems to be the most stable, and more of a console seller than most games, but if its true about the timed release, than it wont matter much to the pre existing 360 fans. With me personally, if it came to the 360 I would probably just rent it because snake eater was boring for me. Let's see what else is on your list..... Well warhawk, I know very little about this title? Online only I think correct me if I'm wrong vii. Its good something will finally implement the sixaxis controller. But online only games don't sell well but they play well. Sure it will be fun for a week or so, but it looks very boring after a bit. MGS online, another online only game for a community that is so small, it seems to pointless. Although nice idea behind it, again probably going to play well, and be fun, but might not sell that well, because of the online only. Never even herd of the agency, so its not that huge. Hope this big block of text doesn't scare people away from reading it.

when you take all of the exclusives and line them up of course it'll seem like a lot, but when you span those exclusives out across the span of their releases you'll see how that number dwindles.

and I was only demonstrating, how even with that list of exclusives, the 360 will still have more exclusivity than that of the ps3.

and you list those games, but how will those 5 games impact the system?
it will take another 3 years to develop a sequel to them, so really the ps3 will have 5 good games for the next few years, followed by a bunch of stale games.

Not a complaint or or a nag, mainly a friendly request. I just recently got my sidekick, and it handles internet very well, but, it just take a lot longer on my phone to load a lot of sigs, and to scroll through it every other post. You can keep it if you want.

LittleBigPlanet does look like an Xbox live arcade game, and I'd pay 1000 points in general for it. Mostly everything is 800-400P.

Some games look really good, MGS4 in particualar. But that's coming to 360 also, In rumour.
