ROFL!

No way. It's a GAMES CONSOLE. It was brought out to entertain....like what consoles are supposed to do. Nintendo just looked for something original and fun to bring to the market, which they've done and is pretty successful.

I also agree Wii will win the next gen wars, but only if people continue to buy it. Personally, I believe the Wii controller (the heart of the success of the wii - interaction), is just a gimmic. It's fun as hell at first, but after a few tries of it on the same game, it get's pretty repetitive and quite boring. And since the games quite outdated compared to PS3 and 360 games, there isn't really that many reasons left to choose the Wii over the two others, unless you love Nintendo styled games and somehow never get bored of the controller.
Perhaps people will begin to get bored of the controller also? I dunno, cos this is just my opinion (about the controller getting boring), so anything can happen.

Bump much?

And I was just trying to emphasis the obvious to those who say "OMFG IT SAYS NINTENDO ON IT, THEN THEY MUST BE THE PWNZ0RS AND THEY'LL WIN NO MATTER WHAT!"

You want proof Wii is a failure?
Proof:
MT bought a Wii in December when heard the ps3 was going to be delayed. He now knows that was an awful decision. He now wants a ps3 again.

I had a gamecube, after Mario, tonyhawks, Smash Bros Melee and metroid prime, i got bored. Traded in my gamecube and got a ps2.

This will happen to most gamers who got Wii's.

I never said the console was great and deserved to win. I'm just saying that's it's such a gimmic, and there's so many retarded gamers out there (mostly little kids begging their parents for a Wii), that it'll just sell so much and win.

Of course gamers who actually KNOW about consoles like us see how much of a gimmic the Wii is, and prefer a 360 or PS3 anyday, but we're a rare kind.
