ok so my wifi aint working on my psp so i went through the hassle of talking to sony and they told me they would send me a refurbished one for a flast fee of $89, i told my mom about this and she said she might just buy me a new one for my birthday!!! (btw my birthday is in a month and a week august 18th ) so yeah... IM HAPPY!! and then im goin to go to walmart and get me one of these http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5065119 and then i will be surfing the internet on my psp in no time!! and i have a question, i have cable internet does this mean i have broadband? then i can test and experiment with my old psp, if i dont give it to my bro for christmas or somthing

sweet guys thanks for the info if my mom has enough money and if its homebrew compatible im getting it! idk if my mom will have that kinda money though... im not exactly rich

well it's only $30 more and comeswith Daxter, a 1gb stick adn a umd movie of family guy, so it's worth it. but I doubt it will be able to play homebrew.

It's a redisigned psp so it probably uses a new mother board, which will most likely be patched again.

it'll probably be like ta-082 again, except more difficult to patch.

I say jsut use your computer for the internet, and stick wiht your current psp.

OR take you current psp apart and mess with the wifi card. just mess with the wires and make sure everything is connected. I bet it's something you can fix yourself.

but im not very good with that kinda thing... and if it aint homebrew compatible i will keep my current psp and use it for homebrew and use the new one for things like games and the newest sony fw

and i think i read somewhere that the hardware is the same (except the umd door) and it comes with 3.50 fw so if its the same hardware it might be downgradable

They've already cracked firmware 3.40, so i'm sure 3.50 wont be hard.

New Motherboard new everything that helped cracked the psp in the first place theyve patched it more and theyve done mch more to it if you try to downgrade it bricks apparently
