£70 for an extra video of artwork and a few bags? Uh...no thanks.
Looking at this, the Halo 3 Legendary Edition looks a lot more of a bargain.

Too the untrained eye its a game with bags and artwork.

To a business mans eye, its seems like a perfect opportunity to invest.

Do you know how much that Collecters Edition Boxset will be worth in about 40 years?
It will at least sell for £500. Maybe even more, depending on the future.

The other day i saw a Hot Wheels car go for £1000 on "Bargains In The Attic" *. Just because it was 50 years old.

And you think the Halo 3 Legendary Edition won't sell for tons in the future? It's the last of the legendary story-arc and hundreds of thousands of people across the world are seeing an awesome series that they've been playing for years going to rest.
And look at the collectables you get in there. All the cutscenes in the whole story-arc (H1, H2 + H3) all remastered into HD for endless memories, all the episodes of RvB in HD for a reminder of the thousands of people that were inspired by Halo and just for a good laugh, a disc full of TONS of content including an exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and videos including a HD "Making of Halo 3" documentery showcasing Bungie's team and effort put in to create one of the most anticipated games of all time, early concepts and their evolution through the game's development, an audio-visual calibration tool, tons of thrilling and interesting story-arc fillers/questions-answered content, and much more. Also, you get a beautifully designed box with artwork all over the inside.
And for the final cherry on the cake, you get a "highly collectable" (as many stores have said) 'Spartan Mjolnir Mark VI' helmet - which if it ALONE doesn't get atleast 3x as much as the actual cost of the Legendary Edition, you can shoot me - also, it'll be cool to put the helmet on your pet cat ^_^
If anything, the H3 Legendary Edition will sell for hundreds of pounds in the future.


As for the GTAIV special edition, I don't think so. It's obviously not the last in the series and in the end it's just a few boxes and bags with GTAIV and R* printed on it. Sure, you might make a profit out of it in the future, but don't bet on it. It doesn't really have anything worth collecting in there.
