So the rumors finally been killed. There will be no MGS4 on the 360.


I guess fanboys will come out with the "This is stupid even for Konami, there are loads more xboxs then ps3!"

Yes and No.

Konami, is a Japanese based company and MGS's main audience is Japanese people. Xbox360 is doing bollocks over there. MGS2 was almost recalled when it was such a flop on xbox. So from that point of view, its a pretty smart call. Dont forgot the game has been built from the ground up for the ps3. So porting it would just waste time and money.

Makes sense, and I never expected MGS4 to come to the 360.

Personally, I don't give a damn, since I was never a fan of the MGS series, and I wouldn't have bought it even if it was coming to 360 anyway.
Still though, some 360 owners might be dissappointed.

There was a MGS outing on the xbox. I'm sure it was MGS2.

I just got a 360 like 2 weeks ago.
Now MGS 4 isn't coming out for it. Shit now I have to get a PS3.

I never liked the series, and wasn't very fond of the game either. So this for me, I wouldn't really care.

So the only reason you would buy a PS3 is for MGS4?
