ok i was updating my friends psp and to 3.03 normal not for homebrew or anything it said that it was done sucessfully and to press X and i did now it turns on and restarts to a black screen

need help

ok it was done perfectly but didnt work ive done it many times to

i made a folder called UPDATE and then copied the 3.03 eboot file called EBOOT.pbp and it loaded properly got all the way up to 100% then said it was succesful and to press X then the screen went black i waited about 3 mins then turned off waited another couple of mins then turned it on and te led light comes on but the screen or sound doesnt (its semi bricked)

the AC cord was in all the time and it was over 82% bat life and i kept looking at it to make sure it was always recharging

and were the hell do you go to send it to sony (and do you have to be reg with the sony site)

i was going from 2.82 > 3.03

i know went down and bought one but where would you do on the sony site to send it away if you know

Call sony they will give you an address and junk. When my ps2 F'ed up we called them and they gave us an address it's in like texas.... <_< but it's worth it to get your system fixed although be prepared to wait a month for it to return. :(
