Well, I have been hyped up for this for..well... Ages!

Hot-diggity-Damn, this game rocks! (Shame it dosen't include the Energy sword, H1 Pistol or anything like that in it yet.. YET) And it's true what they say! Snipering/Lasering someone from the mancannon can't get any better!

If you had an Xbox 360 right now, you'd want to get this game....

Just came back from that rich friend's house I was talking about and DAMN Halo 3 Beta was AMAZING!!

The graphics are truely amazing, and things like the lighting on the structures of snowbound and the plasma rifle effects just blow your mind completely...
The gameplay...well what can I say? It's FUCKING AMAZING! The controls are really as good as it can get, and the gameplay is sooo good.

Too bad you can't have more options like changing the time limit of each game...Guess I'll have to wait for the full game...


I actually didn't want to leave...I was so addicted. It was like smoking a cigarette - the more I tried it, the harder it was to stop and the more I got addicted.

Man....ashame that that'll probably be my only taste of Halo 3 until September...lucky 360 owners...

Damn good gameplay init? I rock with the combo of the Assuault rifle + Spartan laser.

(i once killed 6 guys without dieing with that baby, damn! it rocks..)

Hell yeah! Spartan Laser kicks ass so much. Love the laser targeting also.

I lasered someone while I was in mid-air from the Man Cannon (Oh, and damn those cannons are fun! - My and my friend drove a Mongoose onto it...you should try it xD)


Oh, and High Ground was SOOO jokes. One time a Mongoose was heading towards my friend, and he dropped a Portable Grav Lift in front of him just before the Mongoose hit him, and it sent the Mongoose flying over his head...just before he got lasered into smoke xD.

i downloaded this on thrsday or friday and it rocks cant wait till the game comes out

Hey Josh, go on top of one of the bases on Snowbound, and look down at an angle on the orangy-shiny top bit. Now that lighting just takes my breathe away.
And the water outside the bases of Valhalla...it's just those little details that make the gameplay atmosphere when playing just that much greater...and that much "Halo".

not impressed with the graphics at all. it looks lkike bloody sht compared to gears or even lost planet. They have to do better than this. But the gameplay does rock ^_^

You obviously haven't seen it in some aspects.
The game still needs brushing and polishing up before the final, hence the "Beta", but some things are there as examples.
Things like the effects of the Plasma Nades, the Plasma Rifle and the Snowbound base lighting are all polished to me.
Other things have yet to be polished.

And unlike other games, Halo goes for a balance of graphics and gameplay. It's one of the things that made it as successful as it is.

The graphics on a Beta should NOT be compared to full games, no matter what. And you can't rate a Beta either.

Plus, the Graphics on Halo 3 and the Gameplay is one to be admired, GoW doesn't have as much 'freedom' as what Halo 3 does, as on GoW you have to crouch behind something then jump over it, on Halo 3 you just simply jump. And other Freeodm things I can't be asked to mention...

Have you even tried wielding the Machine gun turret? Or the Missile pod? Makes it 3rd person doesn't it. Makes it look like GoW, point across..
