Just when you thought Spiderman 3 was breaking records, look who's stepped in.
Over 4 million pre-orders so far, with a release date not annouced yet, and these 4 million pre-orders have come from ONLY North America! I mean, talk about madness...
This little bit interests me alot:

| In the coming months, if this information is verified this would be the most preordered videogame of all time. |

Wow, And to think Gears of War has just broken it's 3 million sold barrier, and Halo 3 has broken it's 4 million sold barrier before it's even released! Well, if it is true, and it's only North America (I play alot from America over Xbox Live) wonder how big it would be from... The UK?
Wow.

This must make the devs extremeley pleased, to see theres such a high demand for their game.
But one thing i dont get is this; why would you ever pre order a game?
I've never seen a shortage of a game. Or seen it sold out. Nowadays they just get soo many copies, no where sells out completeley

Well special editions do.
And with the even more rarer Legendary Edition of the game, pre-orders are definately needed if you want your hands on it.
And mostly it's so they can get the game one day earlier than release, and so it'll get delivered to your house in the morning.
