I sometimes have this problem, but it goes fine after a while.
When you download something, what does it say? By more precise!
as soon as i get 100% it says "save failed"
i can only download pics

ive never had this problem but try these 2 things
1. Try saving into COMMON folder
2. Make a backup of your psp mem stick then format it then try that if it works try copying the backup back to ur mem stick and see if theres still a problem
