Title: HELP!
Description: Cheat deviced doesn't work

I had a 2.71 PSP, and with the latest downgrader I dropped down to 2.60 so I can use cheat device. I have a TA-082 so I can't go lower then 2.50. I put the cheat device save in the proper location, and even took my save off the PSP so I knew there was nothing interfereing. It loads into it, and like, I have the 2 bikes and the V8 car in the garage, but that's it. It doesn't say anywhere how to activate cheat device, but I assume you press L1+Left to open the menu? I've tried that over and over. I've tried useing a slightly older version of cheat device as well to no avail.
Is it possible that the savegame fix, implemented in 2.71, sticks, regardless of the firmware your running? i don't see how that's possible.

To open the cheat device it L1 + Up (or down)
try that, if you still have no joy then it somthing wrong with the save probably

He said his game loads..and with that V8 ghost in.
Sureley if it was patched..it would say "savegame corrupted" or "error loading savegame"?
He managed to get onto the game.. :o
But its his menu that wont come up..

nope. the patched sa vegame dosn't give you an error message.

I thought cheat device worked with any version of the game, but you needed the unpatched version to use the old method of downgrading.

YOu need an unpatched version of LCS to run the Cheatdevice.

im glad i have got an unpated version well thats what happens if u dont get the game early enoughy.

im glad i have got an unpated version well thats what happens if u dont get the game early enoughy.

I got mine June so I got LCS just in time.
