Cheatsync project (CheatSync.net Forums)

ok heres my idea (im going to do it with or without your help so please dont steal it )

IFS :If ade allows me to use the cheatsync name ill call it after that or something
maybe a rip of xploder or something CHEATSYNC EXPLODER

ok my plan is to make a lua app to and make it read your umd ID CODE

then search through a site ill set up of a database full of cheats it takes your id code and checks to see if there is a folder named that if not it will say SORRY YOUR GAME COULD NOT BE FOUND then it will say goto blah blah blah to submit any known cheats so on so on

and the site will allow you to add some cheats biut if a folder is called that then it will read the cheats and the details in a txt file and display the name of the game and display the icon0

but what i would need help with is getting cheats fr the game i could search endlessly for them or i could ask you guys to look for cheats to games that you have (so i know what games are being bought and so on) then display them here along with the game id and ICON0 that you can get using file assitant (or i could make my app do it so people uploading it will have it)

ONE PROBLEM I DONT KNOW IF ISO's CLEARLY DISPLAY THERE ID NUMBER AND NAME IL HAVE A LOOK

PLEASE DONT POST AN CHEATS YET BUT PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK

the lua app should be easy enough as lua devs are nice people and will help me ith netlib :D

also to any GFX people out there (im awful) if you would be nice enough to make some artwork like the bg or icon0 or something for it that would help alot thanks

Good idea, I assume. Just watch for though's copyrights, even it it's a homebrew. I also beilive ISO / CSO so ID numbers, I use them all the time. -_-

well ive changed the name to X Cheat and i wasnt going to use Cheatsync unless ade allowed like i said it was to try and bring people to this forum (i dont really care what its called it was more for the site to be called cheatsync than me)

and unfortuneately i dont know if im going to be able to occupy iso (theres one chance and that it to mount the iso in the umd drive [which allows you to load them] and if the load it / unpack it like a umd then its possible but if it doesnt unpack them in memory im afraid i proberly wont be able to and porberly not with LUA)

i proberly will but it will be a while mainly because of the website thats going to be difficult to me so if anyone could !EASILY! make a web form were you enter in the name
id and fw required as well as cheats and a upload a 144x80 image then please do (only if you can do it with a blind fold i dont want anyone working their ass off)

that would be a huge help and say 2 weeks (because i have tests next week) this should be finished

JUST FOUND OUT WHY MY APP WASNT WORKING UNFORTUNEATELY WLAN DOESNT WORK WITH 3.03OE-C SO I CANT DO THIS PROJECT :(

ok (well im no getting any help on some lua sites because i mentioned iso its like the word is banned there is legal iso) anyway ive heard of something that cools managed to do and that was to get wlan working by downgrading to 1.5 then change your network setting's then back up to 3.03OE-C and because ive already recieved help from waterbottle i am going to try and find away around this (i think it has something to do with the config.se file in flash1 [its nothing to do with flash0] so ill go and decrypt a 1.5 file and flash that config.se

BTW can you brick your psp by flashing to flash1 as long as you dont over flash or does your profile just get corrupted

(ill also contact cool to see if hes found a better way)

and i will change it to Cheatsync because after all thats what its doing sync cheats to your mem stick (i am then going to try and make a cheat reader in a prx form so you can see your cheats in game but my pspdev is broken.... so it might be a while for that )
