I mean the graphics look amazing i have to give R* that but I was hoping a little more with the character and the plot, I just don't like the look of this game I mean one of the reasons im getting a PS3 is because of this game but now it does'nt seem worth it, I know I may be raining on alot of parades and I may get some criticism from this topic about not explaining my views...

Okay, how the fuck can you say all of that, when so far, there has seen, is a 30 second trailer, with half of it being moving screenshots, and 3 seconds of the main dude talking... maybe i'm stupid, but you really are guessing too much of this game, when that is all that you know about it.

You changed your mind about getting GTA IV because of seeing a trailer. You haven't seen enough of the game yet and you ride your decision on a minute long trailer. Smart move.

@true-playa: It's not a teaser trailer. If it was, it wouldn't be on the GTA IV official website and again you can't judge the main character just by his accent, I mean come on.

Ok, most of you are criticizing for My views, by saying all of that you wont make me change how i feel, i may change my mind when i see some actual gameplay pictures but until then..

I'm not getting a ps3 just for the game as i stated its One reason im getting it, as i love the GTA series.

That trailer WAS gameplay. It just didn't show alot of mad driving and gun shooting.

That was just to show how far GTA has come since San Andreas, and to show R* can create a living breatheing city. Also showing that R* are using the next-gen power wisely.

The next video/teaser/trailer they show of GTA4 would almost certainly contain some shooting, cops and mad driving - things that GTA are about.

That's what i would like too see, the weapons, the driving, and how the oponents act when they are under attack.

Just to clear it up, he wasn't actually cussing GTA4 saying it's gonna be shit, he was just saying he was dissappointed that the trailer didn't show stuff GTA-y, like shooting, cops and random crazy shit.

As I said, this trailer was just to show how GTA4 is looking right now, almost like showing off to everyone else. The next trailer will probably show some GTA-style mayhem.

I want this GTA to be realistic though..no stupid missions.

VCS had a couple of stupid missions, that wouldnt ever work in real life..

and up to now, no gta cities have actually felt real. I hope that changes in GTAIV.

Rockstar will not disappoint with GTA4. I have total faith in their judgment.

Just look at what they managed to do with SA. We gave them 2 years to make the next GTA game and they ended up creating one of the best games of all time.

That's because all console/psp GTAs used the same boring ped and driving AI system. If you look at Getaway 3's peds from the trailer they released a while back, you can see they're all like real. There's some admireing the views, some leaning on railings just chilling, some walking hurridly with a suit, briefcase and talking on their mobile. It's all like real life.
From the GTA4 trailer, I just saw the same ped AI system as all the other GTA games, which dissappoints me a bit.

But then again, we only saw around 3 seconds of the peds close up, and even then we can hardly see it cos it was fast forward. But I've seen still screenshots of the fast forward ped section of the trailer, and it does look like past GTA AI. Maybe we just happened to see the peds not do anything different there, hopefully.

When is the next trailer coming out? Is there a set date yet?

Nope. Rockstar haven't even said that there might be another trailer. But there's always atleast a second trailer before the release.

If Rockstar follows their usual pattern, they will release about two more trailers before release. We should expect one in the summer...maybe even in June.
