Okay, I'm really having troble with this, have wanted to play San Andreas Multiplayer for.... lets just say a very long time. Just yesterday, I talked to Vii, and he was an amazing help, he gave me the site where I could download San Andreas. So I regestered, downloaded the game, extraced it to a folder on my computer called "San Andreas", and then Installed it. So right now, I have a folder on my desktop with the game. I Just installed SA:MP, Installed it, and I can open it and it come up with a list of servers, from there, I make a name, select what folder it can be found in, which happens to be the folder I named "San Andreas" on my desktop. I then made a name, and it seemed to open SA:MP just fine and all, but it doesnt seem to load, I get this:



The IP differs depending on what serer I join(Durr). But I've not yet experiansed what happens what it loads. ANy help eoulf kick ass, or If someone wants to walk me through this, and show me where I need to save everthing that would rock!

Don't call yourself a noob! There's either a connection problem, or the server is down from now on. Or you have San Andreas V.2, This doesn't let you play the game with SA:MP, so try and search ion google for a downgrader. there is one somewhere!

v.2 dont work with multiplayer so thats why mine comes up with a picture of vinewood sign so i quess i better look for a downgrader for a game btw does it afect the game by downgrading like a psp

No, it just makes it so you can put mods on and play online.

Would that matter? Just to make it clear I have a copy i downloaded... could it be a corrupt download? :huh:

No, i'm guessing you either did this:
A)Clicked on a server that was down. Try clicking one of the official ones
B) The copy you downloaded was a patched copy. So you'll need to downgrade it.

I can downgrade a game I downloaded? Awesome! I'll go look for a downgrader, thanks!
