I've made a simple custom mission for GTA:LCS. Played through a prx with devhook. (didn't bother posting anyscreens, since it would be pointless)

REQUIREMENTS:
US version of the game. (Pretty sure it won't work with the european one becouse of the difference in the memory addresses)
firmware 1.50 or 2.71SE
devhook with a gta compatible firmware dump


A few notes,
When you want to turn off the game, first press SELECT+UP to disable the prx, else the game will crash upon exiting. (not sure why :/)
If you were to fail the mission then go back and get the car again to try again.


To install first download the prx from here.
Put it in X:\dh\kd
(Where X represents the letter of your drive)

After that open X:\dh\271\flash0\kd\pspbtcnf_game.txt
(where X represents the letter of your drive and 271 the number for the firmware you want to run the prx on)
find the line 'ms0:/dh/kd/devhook.prx' in that file. and add this line after it,
'ms0:/dh/kd/GTALCSmission.prx'.
Then just boot up GTA with devhook on the firmware you slected it for and the onscreen instructions will guide you to how you play the mission.

Making vids dosn't really work for it though. becouse the video capturer slows down the game but it dosn't slow down mission (or not as much). and therefor everything happens way to fast and it's impossible to make a good vid, nor complete the mission.

certainly,

First you have to go get a car from the staunton garage. When you do you will start the mission.

You will then have 120 seconds to find a folder which is located somewhere under the callahan bridge. If you succesfully get it you will be asked to return it to the safehouse.

However when you return the mummy is waiting for you and he wants you dead. So you have to keep away from him for 30 seconds, after that they will become friends and you get to dance.

Definately sounds Rockstar-ish.

use a digi camera that lets you take vids then post it i wanna see how its done

Look at your gamesave.......if it starts with ULES its EU.
if it starts with ULUS its US.

trying to get in contact with edisoncarter. He's the only one (that I know of) that knows how to convert the memory addresses between them. Should be able to make it rather quickly if I knew how to do that.

and also, the mummy dosn't dance (where going to add some dancng to the mummy also, but I got lazy :P)... toni does. sorry to dissapoint you Krossfire ;)

Wow, Great work waterbottle! I had one minor problem though. When I failed to find the folder I went back to the garage to make another attempt. When I got back to the safe house it skipped to the part of the mission when the mummy tries to attack you to get the folder.

sweet mission, i failed it 2 times before i beat it, then i got to dance, the only problem i had was i didnt have to find the folder, i went towards calahan bridge, and there was no folder or anything, i turned left from thte safe house, drove to calahan bridge, turned left, "go back to safehouse".... fun nevertheless

don't open it in any program, just copy it to your memory stick with out opening it..

and everyone have a warn thing unbder there name, yours is at 0% meaning you have done nothing wrong, mine is at 1% becouse I warned myself 2 times and then magical trevor removed 1% :/

Tell the exact root

no its just im 2 scared to downgrade incase it bricks (which i dont even no wot it is)

just upgrade to 2.71. first then it's impossible that it bricks unless you turn off the psp while it upgrades. then use the generic downdater. It's impossible to screw up the instrucitions on that and thereby no chance of a brick (unless you turn the psp off).

and to brick means that it gets broken.

i was tod that u could not make your own missions bye some person on this forum.

With running code you can do almost anything. :)

could someone test the UK version? need to know if it works.

Could you edit button cheats if you can could you change the peds have weopons cheat so that they have really cool weopons that would be funny.

In theory I could even create my own button cheats. I'm not bothering with that for lcs though. maybe for vcs if I can't get text working

change the weapons they have could just aswell be done witha cheatdwevice I think, would "just" be finding the valuse that stores what weapon they get.. or it would have to be scanning through what weapons the peds have and then editing it.

Anyways, no I'm not going to try.

if you are not mabye tell me how i could do it my self is there a program that i could have to do this.

learn C/C++ take a look in the ped cheats. make a prx that search through the weapon the ped is holding, and if it stores whatever weapon they usually get from the cheat replace it with the weapon you want.
