I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how to bring more members to the site, seeing as the forum is slowly declining, and I'm afraid evtually everything will just...stop.

So, in this thread, post some ideas on what could attract more members to CS and CSF.

My thoughts:
More Utilities
VCS PMG
VCS PMGP
Some type of brand new project, who knows what

VCSPMG will start a BOOM of people posting codes and stuff so that is a YES
More utilities to the forum?????? i think you should add more games there is only a few

i think we should all pitch in and get the word out on cs (without spaming other sites though) and if people are anything like me they will love it

well i was thinking change the theme a bit but i dont think that would bring more members And i think that there should be more tools on cheatsync for vcs and more for lcs

Well to get more members on these forums, you gotta get more people being reasonably active on Cheatsync.net and more people to visit it.
To get more people to visit CheatSync, you need to make the website more interesting. To do that, you need more interesting apps.
What else than PMG?

These forums are just waiting to be over filled by members, it's just VCS PMG's release date that's making it wait.


Other than that, all you can do is advertise the forums and posts a link to here on other sites/forums. There's no point in adding more stuff to the forums.
These forums are for PSP and GTA. We got all anyone needs here. A ton of PSP sections and GTA sections, each one appealing and with tons of useful and interesting threads for the average PSP/GTA fan.

a better construction method maybe a pc appilcation to make constructions would bring people back

but i only think Adepsp knows C# and such languages

Yep the wait for cheatsync's PMG for VCS will kick start this all over again it will stop but a few year's down the road I think :rolleyes:

It was a Comp not a drawing from .. a "hat" system. if we had this idea then there would be hundreds of mods.. and some would be newb members.

Everyone loved CheatSync forums when it first started, everyone was so excited about LCS for the PSP, cheatdevice and last but not least... PMG. All of these things were connected back then, And we had one of the best community's for modding GTA for the PSP going, but why did it all stop? Well... Spammers. Then people just 'couldn't be bothered to sign up again'

So were going to need something to bring them all back. A brand new theme to the CS area, VCS PMG is a great idea, that may bring some people in.... but we cannot be sure. As mostly everyone has a high firmware and some people have no idea how to install these cheats, or how to make the cheatdevice work on Oe-C (Trust me, I now that one ;)) Were going to need a hell of alot of tuts... And make ADePSP maybe put some on his site. Penguinsrule is the best for tuts, and I also think everyone should have ago. And don't forget, I'm not a boring person. :)

Lets make cheatsync popular again :D

i think the theme of cheatsync should change aswell cause it still has that picture of lcs in the back i think it should have vcs aswell and i think insted of blue have red of something

Also pointed out, i think it would be a great idea, if ossible, to have construction mods on the PC, and not just on the PSP, that would be better.

I think putting a link to the Cheatsync.net website, in all of your signatures in all the forums you are members at would be a good idea. Kinda like advertising, but not spamming.

I thought making affiliates with more forums would be a good idea, and a aforum which would be GREAT to affiliate with, would be Nex Gen Wars forums. The Forums have aload of members online at once, sometime about 20 - 30 and about 50 members at once, not bad to affiliate with. Also, GTAForums.com would be great to affiliate with if not already an affiliate with) as they have alot of members online at once, so they can notice the CheatSync affiliate sign, and click on that to link it to the site.

Also mentioned, the CheatSync frontpage. Now it was great when only GTA VCS was out, but now we have GTA VCS cheat etc. i think its time to change the background, to something with pictures of GTA VCS mods. But instead of the Dull-Grey background, mearly base on GTA LCS, i think that we should have a pink/light coloured background, aswell as a dull one to attract the feature of GTA VCS AND GTA LCS combined.

Lastly. In all the Cheat Devices, i think we should have not just a link saying www.cheatsync.net, but one also a link saying http://z10.invisionfree.com/CheatSync_Forums/index.php Another advertising part of the Cheat Device, would be to advertise the CheatSync website more. Like saying:

Something colourful and catchy like that, would attract people. But, you have to think about the room you have on the cheatdevice page-not alot. So it would have to be reduced to a small amount.

Now these are just ideas, which i thought might work. I have aload more of ideas, but i thought these are the best. :CS:

I'm not sure where to advert. but when advertising on a forum. Your only going to get mabe one or none at all. Speaking when your on a forum that you go to,And are active. It's like your home forum... your not just going to change the forum you go to, Unless some thing Big happens. Like PMG for VCS personally i only go to two forums Mine and CSF thats it.

On my Homepage i added a pop-up link box. That has Cheatsync tab>then has a tab for Forum and Home. every one that has a web should add links that are poping out at you or catch your eye because the sparkle. or something in that way.

Or, Like I said before.... ADePsp could make a tutorials page on his website, as lots of people are finding it hard to downgrade, install the cheatdevice... get hacks for games, installl custom firmware (e.g 3.03 OE-C) This would make it more reliable to pop up in search engines...... :rolleyes:

idk, i think VCS came out at the wrong time, i dont think u will get more members. Maybe if you guys did something new? a new type of site. maybe something that deals with other stuff like game news reviews previews and stuff like that. who knows maybe even an iso site lol jkjk

It's the firmware that killed VCS I think.
When LCS came, everyone could get CD, cos it asked you to upgrade to a FW that allowed you to use CD. Not the same for VCS though...

Also LCS was the first of it's kind, and there was alot of excitement for it. Now VCS is out, the excitement of a portable GTA kinda died down, and the only real exitement was basically playing an improved and refurbished GTA:VC.

easy, downloadable, pc app that is a noob friendly construction for vcs and lcs, what i think is really going on is that a lot of people still don't have vcs and are stikin' wit lcs,
(totally retarded since vcs is exaclty like sa, but portable!!!!!!!! ^_^ ) so we will need to keep on getting lcs codes coming aswell, not just for vcs
