Detailed downgrader guide from any firmware upto 3.03(Possible to 3.03-1.5-3.03oec)

1. Download this DOWNLOAD little installer I made
2. Copy everything off your PSP that you want to keep.
3. Make sure you are on firmware 3.03 else go to section 22.1.
4. Set you parental controls to off in the security menu (default password is 0000).
5. Format the memory stick.
6. Run the installer.
7. Boot the unpatched GTALCS disc.Picture GTALCS Firmware Update 2.00
8. When it loads game save it will turn hopefully your PSP from 3.03 to 3.03 Hen.
9. Check your PSP is 3.03 Hen by going to settings, system settings, system information.
10. If not tell me and do not continue.
11. Run in the Game, memory stick the PSP Update ver X.YZ and this will now downgrade your PSP to 1.5. Picture
12. When this is done format the memory stick.
13. If you want firmware 3.03oec with all the great stuff go to 33.1.

22.1
1. Download this DOWNLOAD
2. Format memory stick, of course removing your stuff first
3. Run it
4. Go to game
5. Go to bottom of game and click on the memory stick and in their should be the 3.03 update
6. Run the 3.03 update
7. When now on 3.03 format the memory stick
8. Go back to 3 on above walk through

33.1
1. Download this DOWNLOAD
2. Format the memory stick and run this.
3. Go to game, memory stick and run 3.03 OE-C Update Maker (This takes ages so bare with it). Picture
4. Go on USB mode and go to PSP, GAME, oeupdmaker copy the data.dxar file to PSP, GAME, 303oeflasher.
5. Run 3.03 OE-c Firmware Installer. Picture
6. Welcome to 3.03 Custom Firmware. Picture
7. For game ISO go to www.askseb.co.uk/fourm and sign up and ask seb for the details.


2.80-1.5-3.03oec
Requires a safe 100mb to install

This is for firmware 2.80 and has all the updates in it eg 3.03oec.

1. Make sure you aren't a TA-082(IC1003) model, by under the UMD door under the metal strip closest to the USB port their is some gold writing. Picture
2. Make sure your parental controls are off because it will affect the down grader it’s found in the security menu (default password 0000)
3. Download the pack file name DOWNLOAD
4. Get everything you want off the memory stick and format it.
5. Run the exe you downloaded and making sure your PSP is plugged in by USB.
6. Check you are running 2.80 by going settings, system settings, system information. If you aren’t goto 22.4
7. Go into game, memory stick, and then run 1.50 DD for TA-079-081FW Picture
8. Now it is downgrading don’t touch it.
9. When you have to restart the PSP after it has complete hit circle at the screen with tons of garbed text on it.
10. Now if you want the great 3.03oec goto 33.8 below

22.4
1. Go on the PSP to game, memory stick, and then run the PSP Update ver 2.80 Picture
2. Let this run and follow on screen instructions.
3. Go back to step 5 above.

33.8
1. Run 3.03 OE-C Firmware Installer. Picture
2. Welcome to 3.03 Custom Firmware. Picture
3. For game ISO go to www.askseb.co.uk/fourm and sign up and ask seb for the details.



2.71-1.5-3.03oec

This is for firmware 2.71 and has all the updates in it eg 3.03oec.

2. Format you memory stick copying your stuff of first.
3. Set the parental controls to off (default password 0000).
3. Run the exe you downloaded.
4. Make sure you are running 2.71 by going into the Setting, System Settings, System Information.
5. If you aren't running 2.71 or running lower goto 22.2.
6. Now go into to Photo and view them. The screen might go red if so it is downgrading else it will freeze and turn off. Keep trying this until it does go to a red screen, mine took 5 goes.
7. Now it will restart into 1.5.
8. If you want 3.03oec goto 33.3.

22.2
1. On the PSP go to Game, Memory Stick and run PSP Update Ver 2.71 Picture
2. When this is done make sure that parental controls are off and return to step 5 above.

33.3
1. Format the memory stick and run this.

I checked the grammer over and this guide should work i semi tested through each section

one question i can easily do this the problem is is that my mate has a TA motherboard i know that this will work but how much more of a chance is there that it will brick his psp and wat does patch mean

yeah i will gets some pics but as you can use this to downgrade all off the fw as you just update to 3.03 i didnt see why we needed any others
