Great, download this,

http://www.cheatsync.net/PSP_INSTALL2.zip

Extract somewhere and run PSPInstaller.exe... Choose a picture and a readme and copy some stuff into the MS_ROOT folder and then Compile it all... Should make you a single executable that can be run on it's own and will install the files you put in MS_ROOT onto a connected PSP...

Let me know if it works...
Cheers

works perfectly Ade
but i kept on gettin couple of errors after i complied the install package and opened it it said cant find .dll
also when i was compling there was thing saying default .jpg not found in D:/desktop/pspinstaller/default.jpg

BUT IM PRETTY SURE THESE WERE ERRORS ON MY FAULT IT WAS A BIT CONFUSING BUT I DELETED IT AND INSTALLED IT AGAIN AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY IM PRETTY SURE THESE ERRORS WERE BECAUSE OF ME ANYWAY BRILLIANT

and 10/10 looks real good i like the way it resizes images for use its brilliant ade

oh one thing stick all the files in a folder then zip that folder so it doesnt take up precious desktop space

That's interesting about the dll... Could you try it again and did the install.exe copy the files to your PSP correctly...?

Thanks for testing...

emcp - January 20, 2007 04:33 PM (GMT)
works now only thing now is that it has to be in a folder called pspistaller loctaed d:/desktop

but i think it records were it first operates or something it should work for evryone else but to prevent any more stupid problems like what id id naming the folder pspistaller instead of pspinstaller zip a files in a folder
but it works now

and no problem about testing doesnt effect me infact it makes me happy :) :)
problem fixed the paths were leading to pspistaller so u just change it to pspinstaller and it worked so now theres no probs wat so ever:)

If your counting the one that didnt work as mine it did eventually its just i messed it up my self i tried all possible solutions incase a n00b messed it up or if there would be any problem if you did that or not

BUT IT ALL WORKS FINE (100% WORKING)
sry for any confusion i even confused myself but it is working

(this could also work for non-homebrew things like videos and all u know the way you c videos for download like the news and all for the psp they could use this to install them)

penguinsrule - January 21, 2007 04:22 PM (GMT)
ill test it

All works
Compiling of installer: Works
Readme function: works
Picture function: works
Copying: Works
Psp Copying intrupted: Fail
I didnt expect this function but i had to try it. Half way through copying i disconnected it and it said finished.
Heres a example not much use but it installs the gtalcs 100% game save Link

Yeah I seen it... They tried to get it onto PSPHacks as well but Greg didn't post it as they even said they were in direct competition with me hehe...

I need to think of some more cool features to make mine even better then... This was only intended as a minor release... I guess competition is healthy for the end users...

Any ideas greatfully accepted... :D

It could if the user who created told it to auto detect the game150 folder and copy anything from game to that or have the user to define what firmware they have and it works like that.

Yeah i've got an idea how it will handle different firmwares...

penguinsrule - January 21, 2007 06:51 PM (GMT)
when the next one comes out can i beta test it

emcp - January 21, 2007 08:00 PM (GMT)
maybe a slightly simple change maybe allow to pack an icon with the .exe

but wat would be brilliant but proberly not possible is that u can tell it to add a line to a certain file like to add the location of the vcs cheatdevice.prx in the game.txt
and to ask it is this your first time setting this up so if youve st it up before then u dont need to add a line

and same as PR (penguinsrule) ill beta test it if your asking for anyone to

its weird that pspupdates hoted it i thought they were more worried about things like this cause the 1st version was the exact same pretty much
