One of the places I walked in Devon last week was Hope Cove to Thurlestone. Hope Cove is where HMS Ramillies was wrecked in 1760 - see this website for details:

Scary stuff - Britain only lost a handfull of ships to enemy action, but the sea took many, many more.

That was the reason for Red and me to 'reduce' the effect of BR 6 from 'sunk' to 'needs some month of reparation'! :)
