Sorry I was delayed, working 12-hour days and weekends! :blink:

Anyway, I've almost sorted out who is at sea and sent that to Ashley. I had a few confusing sets of orders, I think because people are relying on what they posted to the list. Except it doesn't work that way — details such as the name of the ship, etc. need to be in the orders. Sigh...

Miller had bellowed across the heaving sea at Jorgens as they met;

“Huw, it’s three Frenchmen. Two miles to our southwest. A three-decker, a 74 and a bruising escort frigate of 50 guns. The wind lies in our favour so I mean to bring them to action. The key is that the escort lies ahead of the others and it will take him more than an hour to beat back into the wind to help out. I mean to place myself between the two of them and lay about me with a will as soon as possible. If you would be so good as to lay alongside the 74 we can put her out of action and then dispose of the flagship before ever the escort can get back to help. Work got more exciting for me. We had a major disk crash. Which as everyone knows is only worth mentioning if the back up was corrupt. :pir:

Luckily we have enough data to reconstruct the magazine, but it will take a team of temps and some no-doz to get through it all.

I think it was the lunar eclipse hitting at the end of Mercury Retrograde that caused it all. I hope everyone else is well!

Hi All,

Yes, the work crisis is resolved at least to the point where I can leave the office at 7 pm instead of midnight. :xcite:

So I'm working away at it, :type: and hopefully before the end of the week I will have it. :jay:

The turn is out, and next I need to send the character sheets to everyone. Normally I try to send them at the same time as the write-up, but things have been crazy around here and I will do them as soon as I possibly can.
