I am trying to work out a spreadsheet for Excel that works out battle results etc...is anyone a wizard on Excel?

Someone helped me out...so my sheet is coming together...

For character sheets, PDF from an Excel file:

1. Set print area. On the Mac, I hilite the relevant fields, which are B5 to H84 on the character sheet.

2. Under "scaling," set it to print 1 page wide x 1 page tall. This puts all the data onto one sheet.

Margins may already be set, but I re-set them at .5 and take out the header & footer allowance.

Most of the time people will look at the PDF on the computer and not print them out. If the type gets small, it can be viewed at 200% and everything is legible.

Also the light gray gridlines do not print on a PDF, so it helps to set the grid lines to show.

Once the print area, scaling & margins have been set, when the document is saved they will remain and do not need to be done each time.
