When Darkness Falls


Damien sat there, with his girlfriend Sharon, they were on the edge of the lake, watching the sunset. It was the day before they went home, the last day of school, and all friends were off hugging and spending quality time with eachother before they left the next day. As for Damien, he planned on making this night the most special night Sharon had ever had in her life. He sat there with her, and slowly brought his hand over, taking hers and locking fingers. He knew that he would miss her over the break, most likely write to her as often as he had a chance to, and hoped that she would do the same.

"It's so beautiful, don't you think?" Sharon asked Damien, not taking her eyes off the pink rays of the sunset.

Damien nodded, he hadn't been looking at the sunset as she had, he had no need to memorise that scene as he did her face. He leaned over and kissed her cheek sofly, " You know I'm going to miss you baby, right?" he asked her sofly, not taking his eyes off her. She nodded, not saying anything. Damien turned his head just as the sun came out of sight, it had been beautiful, as she was, but he could see it anyday, unlike her.

" We'd better get inside" she said, looking at him, a twinkle in her eye. Damien nodded and got up, holding out a hand and pulling her up. Suddenly, it was completely dark, no moon, no sun, no lights in the castle, nothing anywhere. Both Damien and Sharon reached in their pockets for their wands, finding that they were gone. " Damien? Are you still the-" there was silence. dead silence.

" Sharon? Sharon!" Damien practically screamed. He no longer felt her warm hand in his, no, it was now cold. He let go of it, dropping to the ground, a tear rolling down his cheek, he reached over and found her face, it was now ice cold, no life in it anymore. He couldn't see a thing, but knew where her lips were and reached in, giving her one last kiss but knowing she couldn't feel it. He picked her limp form up, carrying her in the direction wich he figured was the castle. His heart was now broken, all emotions gone, no longer wanting to live for any reason at all. His love was now gone, that was all that mattered.

A 5th year murder mystery. During that summer, Damien snapped and suddenly became dead set on getting revenge on whoever took his love away from him forever. Her cold touch seemed to never leave him and take him away from the teenage highlife he had grown used to. In just a single summer, he changed from teen to a young man who wanted to bring the world into the darkness that took his love away. As long as it meant revenge, he didn’t care who would have to die. He couldn’t just let it go away, something had to be done.

Few knew what really happened to Sharon; even Damien refused to tell those around him. Yes, his parents were knowledgeable and his siblings caught on to follow him, but few in the school were able to find things out. Most figured she just left and Damien left her, no one seemed to really see the Malfoy prince delve into pure evil slowly. It was to be expected when you’re the son of Draco. He didn’t care, they could have all dropped dead and he would have just laughed at them, assuming the killer was one of them.

Damien has been plagued by nightmares of that night, his mind slowly slipping. He sometimes even says he hears her and feels her touch nearby. Of course, few understand that, but even his family doubts her ghost has decided to come by. Damien’s heart was still linked to Sharon’s and followed her into darkness. Darkness is falling on the world and he will not rest until his dark justice is served and the world is resting under his control.

Potters, Weasleys, and more remain clueless to what is going on right around them. Damien is 17 now and wants more as a select few grow suspicious of his growingly evil demeanor. He’s shunned his old friends and rarely bothers to head out. There may be a female or two who wants him, but will any of them be able to deal with him? Can he even leave Sharon behind him? And who really did kill her…

Damien wants to know it all and rule all by the day he dies. Dark justice will be served and that killer will rue the day Sharon was killed. Hell will rise as Darkness falls.






As a side not, since we just opened the month is August just for this week, then we'll open the school and it'll be September
