Title: Robes for all occasions

Cho Chang - June 13, 2006 01:32 AM (GMT)
"Ow!" Cho cried as a needle went too far, and accidently pricked her finger.

It was times like these, that brought out the worst of Cho.

Wishing very much that she could whip out her wand, and hex this incompetant worker, Cho quickly put her now bleeding finger to her mouth.

'I'm suprised this girl was even let to come inside here,' she thought bitterly. The worker's name was printed in small letters on a name-tag, "Veronica", and she hardly looked older then fifteen.
"Veronica" snipped off some extra thread, then looked up lazily at Cho, smacking gum, then tucking a piece of bleached hair behind her ear, which looked to be pierced at least five times.

"Kay Doll, I'm done with the last of ya school robes- did you have anything else ya wanted? Par-tay robes? I'm sure that Hogwarts still throws 'dose huge Balls and stuff; You know, you'd look great in 'dis blue silk I got, but ya'd look terr-ibal in black! Not 'cha color, ya know, hun? So anyways, like I wa' sayin', I got some really nice blue silk, and 'dif you'd like a look at it, I'm sure you'd love it Doll, I-"

Cho didn't possibly know how much longer this girl could possibly talk so much, and frankly, she didn't want to know.

"No, thank you," Cho replied coldly- a little too coldly, judging by the look on Veronica's face.

But as Cho purchased all her robe, Veronica kept on chatting.

"So, like I was sayin', Doll, I saw 'dis paper article 'bout 'dat boy goin' to some Magic scool, Malfoy somethin',"

Cho looked up quickly.
"I've seen him before- he goes to Hogwarts,"

Veronica grinned, which resembled something like a poodle trying to show it's teeth to people.
"Oh, really, Hun? Betcha like 'im, huh? Bet all 'dose girls like 'em, all right- saw his paper in the picture, he's a right cutie- goin' out with him yet, Doll?"

"Wha-? No!" Cho wrinkled her nose.
"I don't even really know him- I just saw him, and-"

"Sure, Doll Face, sure," the poodle-like grin still on Veronica's face.
Grabbing the bags with her robes inside, Cho left the small satchel of galleons on the desk, mumbling "Whatever," before leaving.

Man- that was the last time she went here! The staff was so annoying!
