Riley walked into Hogsmeade, not too casual but not too dressy. She had a camo skirt on with a snugshirt that fit her body shape perfectly. She was hoping to see one of her friends in hogsmeade, preferably Will but she doubted she would bump into him. Her shoes made her much taller than her usual 5'5'' self and she kind of liked it. She felt like she was " On top of the world. She looked around and decided on going into the Three Broomsticks, she was in the mood for a butterbeer. She walked in and sat down at an empty table. She put her purse down on the table and ordered a butterbeer, taking a sip of it when it came.

Severus entered the Three Broomsticks, and looked around the place. He was in the mood for something to drink and maybe a little snack, before he went to go buy Draco a pet to celebrate his finally beginning his first year at Hogwarts.

After going up to the bar and ordering a Firewhiskey, he noticed one of his students, Riley Noir. He raised an eyebrow, and walked over to her.

"Hello Miss Noir, what are you doing here all by yourself?" he asked her, taking a sip of his drink.

Riley looked up as she heard one of her professors speaking to her. It was Snape, " Oh, just being lonesome. I can't find any of my fellow sixth years anywhere and, as you should know, I wouldn't be caught dead hanging with Gryffindorks" she said, picking up her butterbeer and taking a sip before setting it back down. " What are you doing here Professor?"

"Just fancied a drink before I went off to buy my godson a gift." Severus answered the student of his. He took a sip of his firewhiskey.

"Would you care for some company for a little while?" he asked her, his way of asking if he could take a seat. They didn't have anything to really talk about, but he didn't like sitting by himself all that much most of the time.

Riley nodded at his first comment. She was one of the very very few people in the school who knew who Snape's godson was and she didn't like it in one bit, but she couldn't show it in any way, which made her a bit angry most of the time. " Umm... I guess so, I've no one else to accompany me at the moment"

Severus nodded and sat down across from her, as he took another sip of his drink. "So Riley, are you looking forward to another year?" he asked her, as he leaned back in his seat slightly. Riley had found out years ago that Draco was his godson, though she was one of the very few students who knew.

" Hardly, I hear that the sixth year is just prep for the seventh, and both have too much love drama" she said rolling her eyes. " But I suppose you know all about that, don't you Professor?" she asked him.

Severus, very unlike himself, laughed at Riley's last comment, and nodded. "I have seen many love drama's going on in the last couple years of peoples schooling, probably more than I'd like to see, or even hear about. It is true." he said, he took another sip of his firewhiskey, he had already finished half of the pint.

"But just because many of the other students are destined to be stupid enough to involve themselves in all that idioticy drama, doesn't mean you'll succumb to it." he told her, raising an eyebrow.

" I sure hope not" she said, but she secretly did. She wanted a boyfriend, just for the fun of it, but lately she didn't see anyone in her year around.

Severus nodded, he could tell that she wasn't completely sincere about not wanting to be in all the stupid drama that most of the older students got in when it came to members of the opposite sex, though he didn't say anything. He took a sip of his firewhiskey, and then noted that he was almost done it. It was almost time for him to leave and go get his errands done.

Uncharacteristically, Sev gave Riley a small smile. "If you happen to find yourself in any predicament that you wish not to be in, or feel the need to talk about it, as Head of your House, I will be around to listen to whatever problem it is." he told her. He knew it sounded corny, but it was part of the Head of Houses duties.
