You know, is it only me noticing this, or do all the people who play characters in the Ace Lightning Community RP, have certain similarities to their RP characters?

I mean with me… well… Mark writes for the paper, right? I like writing. And Chuck is… well, Chuck is Chuck. And Scarab is Scarab… :P. I’ve also been called innocent…

Just a really stupid idea I had, that *blushes*… lemme know your thoughts on it? Anyone think they resemble their RP’s?

We put up a topic in Fic/Art explaining what we were doing. You could always create a journal for Rotgut at LiveJournal and join from our community.

In answer to the original question, while I do find points of identification with some of the characters, it's more along the lines of what-would-I-feel-in-this-special-situation-with-these-abilities-and-personality rather than something I'm genuinely like. I'm usually nothing like my favourite characters in RL.

Well, I'm not going to have much in common with Random until I stick my arm in some machine I shouldn't :P Or am I already insane?

Not nessecarily isimilarities in personality, but links with out characters is possible. For example H, I'd say you'd have a link with Random, because of your interest in engineering, and Sarah's course in law links her to self-enlightened LI. That kind of thing.

I think your point is more based around favourite characters and identification with characters rather than anything RP-specific, Scarab. So yes, I do have my reasons for liking LI, and some of those are probably qualities that I desire in myself.

I don't have Sparx' sudden interest in guys, but I'll admit it's as easy to make me angry as it is Sparx. Not a good thing. Umm.I'm computer obsessed like Rick . . . . :rolleyes:

Okay, why don't we just do a summary of what each of our characters is current;y up to? That should say pretty much everything shouldn't it?

Okay, Honour. The whole thing is set after ep 39, and my RP chara is Sparx. (I'm also supposed to share Rick and Kellamy with Sarah, but she's better so I only do them occasionally. :P )

Since we started, Sparx has (I'm only covering plot relelvant/major events here):

Found out about the game, fallen in love with Lord Fear, kissed Random, found out about the most popular form of reproduction, gotten an upgrade (which had rather interesting side effects for a while), fought with Ace, moved out of the Thunder Tower and in with Chuck, and is probably soon going to 'do the deed'/move in with Lord Fear.

What have I forgotten?

Maybe we should start another section for this?
