Title: Episode 13 Thoughts

Rider Jetfire - June 5, 2008 01:59 PM (GMT)
Slash fic fodder FTW!

-Pete certainly has some colorful outfits.

-You can tell mark and Pete are totally in middle school. Only a middle schooler would say something like, "You have to concentrate on what's in important, like Samantha, and studying here and there." Oh wait, scratch that, their are some high schoolers who would think that to. :P

-Dang, Sparx has really got some energy.

-You can tell Ace all ready misses Mark. He really got close to him.

-GOOGLER!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!

-Hey, that's the first show I've really got a clear view of Ace's shoes!!!

-So Sparx had never met Lord Fear before? But she fought with Ace, and he was fighting Lord Fear...

-The Ace Lightning game boxes Chuck are holding are interesting. One of the boxes says "Ace Lightning and The Carnival of Doom: Complete Game Wiado Ons." Not sure what that means. The other is add ons for the game and it's rated T FOR TEEN!!!!!! SWEET!!!!

-So apparently Chuck's never been grounded. Interesting point to the character.

-So has a member of the Ace Lightning fan club, Chuck has to keep people interested in Ace Lightning. WAY TO STICK TO YOUR GUNS BUDDY!!!

-Sparx is not as much of a hero as Ace is. She's a bit more, immature.

-Ace's lightning changed to green!!!! It seems like green energy is evil in this series.

-I wonder if Sparx had been blown away by Ace, would the amulet piece go with her?

-Sparx's and Mark's exchange next to the grill is a good one. You really see them start to connect a bit.

-Mark's Dad is pretty funny. In his own sort of way.

-CALL BACK TO A PREVIOUS EPIOSDE with the tree fort! SWEETNESS!! And the rope ladder seems to be back.

-"Eithier me, or Mark..." "MARK!!!" "Whoa, you don't have to make a decision right away." Great line :P

-I find Breet much more likeable now then I did in the beginning.

-Who wrote the music for this series???? IT'S REALLY GOOD!

-"I hear, and I obey. Such sweet music to my ears." Oh, that's fodder for a slash fic right there.

-Heroes. Interesting topic to be talking about in school. Oh well, gotta keep kids interested.

-This school's evacuation seems REALLY organized.

-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Mark shoving Samantha out of the way just as Sparx gets in Ace's way was hilarious.

-TOSTITOS PRODUCT PLACEMENT!!!

-In Chuck's room he's got Dinosaur heads from the movie "Dinosaur." Funny how they sort of look like Googler's gloves.

-"Leave her to my less than tender mercy's." MORE SLASH FIC FODDER!!!

-So Ace's lightning, combined with the game gave him back his memory?

-Did Lord Fear have a mother?

-Sparx is a pretty cool charecter. I'm liking her so far.

-WAY TO COME TO YOUR SENSES MARK!!!! YES!!!!!!

AND CHUCK WAS ACTUALLY SUPER HELPFUL THIS EPISODE AND NOT ANNOYING!!!! YES!!!!

Excellent review. Ace as a zombie is great. Chuck is awesome! Sparx is awesome! Mark is awesome! Lord Fear beats them all!

Sarah Frost - June 7, 2008 09:14 AM (GMT)
Yay! :D

Lord Fear isn't the only villain Sparx has explained to her. But, though she's fought with Ace, it hasn't necessarily been for that long, or with the full range of villains. Count the marks on her shoulder pads versus Ace's and Random's. ;)

"Ace Lightning and The Carnival of Doom: Complete Game Wiado Ons."

Complete Game With Add Ons.

I wonder if Sparx had been blown away by Ace, would the amulet piece go with her?

That amulet's pretty durable.

"I hear, and I obey. Such sweet music to my ears." Oh, that's fodder for a slash fic right there.

Ace obviously spent the night in the Carnival. :P I remember writing some pointless fic on it in a MSN conversation with Scarab Dynasty once.

That heroes speech in school I was sure I'd heard somewhere else before. Gilgamesh, ancient tales, Joseph Campbell... The thread's not uncommon, I think.

Did Lord Fear have a mother?

Well, the fact Ace says 'mother' obv. means that the concept exists in the 6D. I mean, Lord Fear did technically just pop out into the real world from nowhere, but I suppose he could've been born with skin...

Scarab Dynasty figured she existed. (Prequelfic, of course, so won't really spoil anything so's you know it; possibly a little hard to understand what's going on, though.)

"Leave her to my less than tender mercy's." MORE SLASH FIC FODDER!!!

No, Sparx/Fear is het. Necrophiliac awesome het, but het nonetheless. Keep with the program, Rider. :weedman: (I really liked that fight between them at the beginning of the ep. :) Sparx' acrobatics and that twirly-staff-thing Lord Fear did were cool.)

So Ace's lightning, combined with the game gave him back his memory?

Of course; the game stuff was what Chuck knew would help fix it, and the lightning bolt just shunted it over to Ace. Lucky!

Glad you're liking Sparx. ^^ Everyone seems to. Some hate Chuck, LI, Mark, some even dislike Sam...but nobody I've known so far doesn't like Sparx. (Not that it wouldn't be okay to have a personal preference against her, we're all different and she is rather a female stereotype.)

Ace knew Mark would be back. This was a good way to end the first series--Sparx is here, Mark's resolved to be a hero, and Fear's defeated for the time being. Awesome! ^_^

If Lord Fear was born without skin, it probably would have been painful to his mother during labour...unless she was a skeleton too. They could just open up her ribcage and take him out.

Sarah Frost - June 8, 2008 09:18 AM (GMT)
I would assume he was born looking more like one of the Knights than current form. why has this topic suddenly become super creepy? But since skeletons are obv. smaller than fleshy people, that might make childbirth easier. yes, super creepy.

Rotgut - June 9, 2008 07:36 AM (GMT)
Yes. Whenever I imagine a human Lord Fear I see him as Rick Baker. :P

Rider Jetfire - June 11, 2008 12:03 AM (GMT)
You know that makes me wonder, how old is Lord Fear? I think I remember him mentioning it once, but I can't recall what it was.

Sarah Frost - June 11, 2008 02:34 PM (GMT)
He's 352, though I'm not sure if it's in the episodes or some extracanonical material. :) Old! (Pigface is six, Ace *supposedly* 32, and Random 36 if I recall correctly.)

Rotgut - June 11, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
35 for Random.
