Title: Episode 11 Thoughts

Rider Jetfire - May 17, 2008 04:36 PM (GMT)
Have I mentioned how Random is totally my favorite character in this show?

-What’s up with the shirt Pete’s wearing? It’s kind of… Odd.

-Well dang, Pete mentioning Random Virus totally means he won’t show up in the episode. Although now I have high hopes for this episode since it has Random in it.

-Staff slithering like a snake is an interesting touch.

-Do you think Random Virus was always called that? Maybe he had a different name before he was implanted with all that circuitry

-“I can’t even trust myself.” A recurring line for Random it seems. Great touch.

-It’s interesting how random is happy at the prospect of being rid of one side of his programming, just do he doesn’t have two voices in his head.

-“Save the world” programming? Is that really one of Random’s sides? Probably just Lord Fear now knowing what he’s saying.

-Random controls machines. Cool.

-Ace seems a little hesitant when he shoots at Lady Illusion. You gotta think what it must be like to have to deal with her.

-So it seems Ace has to call Mark ON HIS PHONE!!!! Guess Ace didn’t have any more of those communicators. Pretty funny though.

-Mosh pit… What kind of Mosh pit are we talking about?

-How long can Mark get away with these supposed “English version of things.” Would have better just to say it was his Dad’s nickname for him.

-“Dude.”

-Ace is kind of insensitive with Mark. Though I guess he doesn’t know about his attraction to Samantha, and probably thinks what he as to say is more important. Still, just a tad unsensitive.

-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ace’s secne with the refrigerator is hilarious. Plus him pulling off the door handle was excellent blending of CGI footage.

-Staff has got his own room????

-Mark’s priorities are a bit… Off. How about saving Random so Lord Fear doesn’t take over the world and prevent any more dates with Sam? I guess Mark is still learning to be a hero.

-Wonder what Ace had to go through to become a Lightning Knight. Also, I wonder if the Lightning Knights are an ongoing group, or it’s simply one Ace started himself.

-Chuck’s rap is ridiculous but hilarious.

-Why does Chuck assume the “British Version of Ace Lightning” plays by the same rules as the American one?

-Yeah Chuck, way to be helpful.

-It does make sense Mark’s grades a re slipping with everything that’s been going on.

-Yeah, helping him with his homework… At the mall.

-“London sounds so cool.” I’ll show you it one day.” Awwwwwwwww.

-CHUCK DOES NOT UNDERTSAND SOCIAL CUES!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!!!

-You can set up simulations of events in the game? Thought it was more just an Action game.

-HER OLD BOYRFRIEND IS BACK!!!!! GOSH DARN YOU MARK!!!!

-“Stop Random Virus from going bad.” Well it doesn’t take a genius to figure that one out.

-Odd to see a “Message to Pete” in the middle of the episode. Maybe the episode was running short after the first cut of it?

-Kind of sounds like Pig Face said, “Flesh Meat.”

-Guess Ace hasn’t recharged for awhile, with power that low after only getting into a small yet actually quite intense battle with Pig Face.

-EPIC FAILURE MARK!!!!!! Way to totally lose your girl.

-Oh silly Chuck, making your computer fall to it’s DEATH!!!!

-Once again I’ve got to comment on this. I know Ace and company come from the sixth dimension, and the lightning strike in the first ep pulled them out of there, but that also calls into question where the actual video game comes in. It has to be based off them completely, so I wonder where the idea for the game came from…

-This scene with Mark, Samantha, and her former boyfriend mirrors the second episode of the season. And it just as awkward now as it was then.

-Their seemed to be enough room in the second episode on the ride.

-Mark’s dropping of the drinks doesn’t look to convincing.

-Guess Mark must have been on that ride for awhile, since one girl in the background was by herself in one shot, and the in a lalter one someone else is on the ride with her.

-Great music in this scene and effective slow motion.

-Random laugh from Lord Fear in that music moment.

-Mark’s ignoring of Chuck in this scene is so sad, since he’s so heart broken over seeing Samantha with someone else. Touching but sad stuff to see Mark that way.

-Samantha must have a lot of stuffed Animals with so many men getting her prizes from the carnival. Tehehehehehehehehehe.

-I’ve never seen a Carnival open for this long EVER!!!!! I know it has to deal with the “Rules of The Game,” Ace and co. sort of follow, so it makes me wonder if this Carnival being set up isn’t part of a greater, “Master Plan.”

-ACE HAS GOT HIS OWN ANSWERING MACHINE MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Mark’s priorities are really wacked.

-Yes Chuck, lets get on the tunnel of Loooove. Oh poor Chuck, if only he was better with social cues to wonder why Mark would want to go on the Tunnel of Loooooove with him.

-Oh come on now Chuck, can’t you obviously see Mark LOOOOOVES you? (Just kidding people)

-Nice “Tunnel of Love” song here. It’s reassuring to see the Ticket Seller guy doesn’t care two dudes are going on the ride together. Hurray for Equality!

-Samantha must be thinking, “STALKER” in the Tunnel of Looooove. Mark is really desperate to get Samantha back, but this is going a tad to far.

-FRACK YEAH RANDOM CIRUS IS BRITISH, all the cool stuff comes from Britain don’t you know? Mark obviously missed Doctor Who has one of the big things that’s English.

-Random “randomly” showing up was totally unexpected. I never would have thought to look there, seriously.

-Man, Random’s character is so tragic… *sniff*

-“This is the only language you understand.” Dang, Random is brutal.

-As much as I’ve never really liked Brett, I’m glad that even after the break up, he’s still good friends with Samantha. Good to see people can still be friends after relationships end.

-Interesting to see Sam realizes that Mark’s freaking out over her means he really likes her. Way to go Mark?? Touching scene though.

-Lovely how Chuck thinks Mark was talking to him about going in the Tunnel of Loooooove again. You know he secretly YEARNS TO GO ON IT WITH MARK AGAIN!!!!!

-Wasn’t this shot of Random at the end of this episode used at the end of his first episode as well?

“The scariest thing of all is not knowing what your feeling, and not even being able to trust yourself.” Awesome how they tied those two plot lines together. Touching stuff.

An amazing episode all around. Random always makes an episode amazing and all the hilarious stuff that happened made this episode one of the best. Keep on rockin Ace Lightning.

And Chuck was not to annoying this episode but he really needs to learn some social cues.

Rider Jetfire...I got over the fact you mentioned girl's thinking about a ******* in episode 7, but...

MARK X CHUCK IDEAS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!! YOU PROMISED NOT TO DO THIS AGAIN!

Good review by the way. I never really liked this episode, but the bit where Random gets blasted by the Shield of Justice is awesome.

Rider Jetfire - May 18, 2008 01:40 PM (GMT)
Sorry Rotgut, it was just to tempting. Plus, I didn't make any OVERT references like I did before, these were just silly little playful references to a possible relationship THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN!!! What makes it fun to joke about is you know it will never happen. And I'll do my best to remember not to make any sexual references, though all I did this time was make a little bit of playful shipping nonsense

And also, where did the shield of Justice come from? Did it just, appear?

Sarah Frost - May 19, 2008 01:40 AM (GMT)
Hey, Mark and Chuck were in the Tunnel of Love together. (As were Random and Lord Fear. :P) It's too much to expect Rider to pass up something that easy.

"Did you miss me, Ace? I won't miss you." came off to me as a subtle warning.

Lord Fear is surprisingly nimble in this episode if I remember correctly, jumping over cars like that.

Staff has got his own room????

Well, would you rather share a coffin with LI or with your talking stick? :P

I wonder if the Lightning Knights are an ongoing group, or it’s simply one Ace started himself.

He's not egotistic enough to have started it himself, I reckon. Rick Sigglekow mentioned once that there were more Lightning Knights out there, some of them more powerful than Ace and Random.

I guess the Shield of Justice got there same as the disguises did in ep 10; though I guess that's not completely fair to the evils, they should have the chance to receive handy gadgets themselves!

Mark is totally stalkery. Ineptly, of course, but I think a less-twisted Episode Aesop would've had Sam telling him that that sort of behaviour isn't okay even though she does actually like him.

Episode 11 isn't one of my favourites--I'm not really a big Random fan--but it's not bad. Loving these review, o'course. ^^

THANK YOU :P Don't worry Rotgut, I'll do my best not to make any OVERT sexual references, but these possible relationship pairings are to much to pass up. :D

Yeah, I also thought Sam was a tad to forgiving of Mark's stalkering as well.

I don't know Sarah, that talking stick could be quite appealing :P

Rotgut - May 19, 2008 03:02 PM (GMT)
I wonder where Staff Head came from? A talking stick shop. He has a Cousin Benny as told in Episode 22 I think. :P

Rider Jetfire - May 21, 2008 03:54 PM (GMT)
Maybe Staff is a seperate species that arn born to serve other people, since so far I've actually seem him sblast anything out of him by himself.
