Title: Episode 10 Thoughts

Rider Jetfire - May 3, 2008 07:38 PM (GMT)
Holy frelling rings of hezmana. Mark.... Dress.... So hilarious.... Yet so disturbing.

-I love how the little computer icon on Mark's screen goes, "HA HA HA HA."

-So Mark thinks it's a game? His dialog suggests that only the characters think it's real, and not a game.

-Have I mentioned before how the theme music for this show is amazing? It's the main reason why I kept tuning in to see the show back when it was on. I really wanted to hear that theme!!!

-So LI moves like a spider? Makes sense considering her overall motif.

-Dang. Mark would buy a dog just to keep Sam away from the Carnival. That is dedication right there.

-Interesting how LI notices how nice it must be to be mortal. Is it just wishful thinking, or would she really like to be mortal?

-"I don't like to see innocent girls get hurt." Hmmm. Makes me think LI was hurt when she used to be innocent.

-It's awesome were getting callbacks to previous episodes in this episode. First all the references to when Mark has acted strange, and now LI and AL attraction.

-THEY ALMOST KISSED!!!!!!!!!

-I almost expected Ace to say, "Oh, a little spider told me."

-I'm surprised Lord Fear doesn't react to LI wanting to not hurt Ace Lightning.

-"Thiers no need to harm Ace Lightning. But we will." Man Lord Fear is evil.

-It's hard to see what Chuck is reading, but it looks like one of those fan service type of graphic novels, with lots of action (battle action I mean.) You can also see a picture of Spider-Man on the back of the comic.

-All I could think of when hearing the line, "I've got some gnomes to rescue," was this clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deU2EeTBlBI

-Dang Ace. That costume doesn't stick out at all. Better than the last one he used though, at least this one doesn't have him using a fake looking mask.

-*sees Mark's outfit.* *blinks* *falls off chair* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That's awesome :P mark actually looks quite convincing as a girl. tehehehehehehehehehehe.

-Wonder why those cloths were left at the Thunder tower?

-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Mark's girl voice is hilarious.

- How would Ace know what a bad line to say to a girl is? Though I guess he does woo the ladies in the sixth dimension.

-Sam's traniee badge has numbers on it. I wonder why.

-Sam's reaction to first seeing mark is amazing. That actor really pulled it off in that scene.

-Thier isn't any another place I know where theirs a carnival set up to what looks to be year round. Just something I thought of.

-Apparently thiers an attraction at the Carnival called, "Rick & Dick: The 2 Headed Marvel." Can't wait to see that act.

-Yeah buddy, cause ever girl that's every sprayed me with a hose wants me.

-So this episode marks the first time Mark's parents have actually met Ace. Well, sort of.

-You can sort of see somebody behind Ace's helmet wearing sunglasses.

-The music that plays when Chuck stumbles into that booth is hilarious.

-"I'm running a business not a dating service." With all the slash pairings that happen at this carnival buddy, you might as well.

-Ingenius way to scare Sam villains!!

-YES!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOGLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-More Pepsi product placement I see.

-Is their a deleted scene here, cause they don't show how Chuck and Sam got to where their hiding.

-Googlers gloves are awesome. They're so fun to watch. :D

-Good gosh Lord Fear. JUST BLAST HIM AWAY!!!!

-Why does Ace refer to them as playmates? Hasn't he used that term before?

-So Chuck has asthma apparently.

-Yeah, fanfictions can tell us everything about THAT new melody.

-Jeez, you think Chuck's mouth would disintegrate with all that throwing up.

-"The creepiest birds I've ever seen." Oh your poor delusional child.

And Chuck was only kind of annoying this episode. And he was getting so much better!!!

Episode 10 is one of my favourite episodes. Mark crossdressing, Wayne coming on to him, and Chuck's heaven-on-earth scene are the best moments. :P I wonder if the carnival has any security cameras...hint, hint, hint.

Rider Jetfire - May 12, 2008 01:20 AM (GMT)
Well my thought son the next episode won't be up for a few days since I haven't had any time to watch the episode! Busy week for me with Prom and AP Exams!!

Sarah Frost - May 12, 2008 01:49 AM (GMT)
Aww, good luck with exams. ^^

I've been computerless lately, and haven't commented on your reviews. Thanks for doing them; Ep 10 is one of my favourites.

Interesting how LI notices how nice it must be to be mortal. Is it just wishful thinking, or would she really like to be mortal?

Mortals get to feel emotions and have more options than pre-assigned roles.

"I don't like to see innocent girls get hurt." Hmmm. Makes me think LI was hurt when she used to be innocent.

And immediately that whole meeting with Ace was revealed as part of a plan Lord Fear, certainly never an innocent girl though possibly an emo goth teen who thought the codename was cool at the time, thought up. :P But I do kinda agree with you; even back in ep four LI wanted the amulet without having to hurt Mark and Chuck.

Mark crossdresses for JUSTICE.

How would Ace know what a bad line to say to a girl is? Though I guess he does woo the ladies in the sixth dimension.

Nah, he says he's never flirted before. Maybe his Sixth Dimension friends have had relationships with women, though. :P

Sam's trainee badge is a classic number combination--24601, Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. It was also used in The Simpsons.

Is their a deleted scene here, cause they don't show how Chuck and Sam got to where their hiding.

They were just running through the carnival; I think that ride showed up in the background in previous episodes.

Why does Ace refer to them as playmates? Hasn't he used that term before?

Ep four, to Lady Illusion. :P "Still wanna brag about your power, playmate?" Though she hadn't actually bragged to him; maybe there was a deleted scene there.

Yeah, fanfictions can tell us everything about THAT new melody.

Hey, one of the perks of being evil is a healthy frankness (if not always consensuality) concerning If You Know What I Mean. :P

Lord Fear should blast first and gloat later.

Rotgut - May 12, 2008 09:37 AM (GMT)
A Les Miserables reference!! So much for me being able to point out things. :(

I think the playmates thing is just part of Ace's wit to insult the badguys.

One thing I never really understood were Zip and Snip's appearance at the end. They become actual puppets instead of being CGI. In episode 7, when they were blasted into the puppet booth, they were also frozen in time. How does this add up?

Rider Jetfire - May 12, 2008 09:11 PM (GMT)
Well as I recall at the end of Ep 7 when they became part of the booth they didn't move or talk, so perhaps them talking in Ep 10 was just showing that they in fact could talk while in the booth (and not looking like CGI.) I remember once that when Pig Face went back into the Garbage Can he burped, and that's similar to Zip and Snip's thing in Ep 10 as well.

And Sarah, feel free to go through my other reviews, I'd love to hear your thoughts :)
