Title: Episode 9 Thoughts

Rider Jetfire - April 24, 2008 11:54 PM (GMT)
The best episode so far. Random is sure brilliance.

- I half expected Pete to say he was ready to come to America!!

-Great how they went right into a fight near the beginning of the episode. Really shows what's going on in Mark's life.

-If Googlers gloves are around, where's Googler? Though they do appear to have a separate consciousness from him.

-Interesting how mark wants to stay alive, though I think Mark's actor could have played it with a little more fear, and not been so non chalent about the line.

-LE GASP!!!!! Chuck is smart... Well they hadn't said anything against it before. I guess he's just stupid socially.

-heh, Lord Fear rockin out to his Piano playing is hilarious.

-Rather easy for Rat to take the other piece of the Amulet ya think? I guess Ace and Mark should wait for a time when Lord Fear is crooning.

-I like how the robot actually looks something that could be really made, not those futuristic things that appear everywhere in TV.

-I love Mr. Chesboroughs button, much like a Caution sign, "Genius at Work."

-heh, that would be in his character to give the robot detention.

-I wonder where you get one of those machines that shot out those target thingies. I wonder how Mark got his hands on one?

-"I know you'll be there when it counts???" IT COUTNED BEFORE!!!! THE AMULET WAS ON THE LINE!!!

-Dang, within one minute of showing up, Random Virus turns into one heck of a cool character.

-All right, Mark actually looks afraid in this scene.

-"Now I have to go find him again." Dude, he just rolled out the door.

-All ready Random is a compelling character, having to fight between his good and evil sides and sounding pretty tortured about it as well.

-I don't think Mark has actually been involved in that many fights in the show, so it's understandable how scary actually fighting really is.

-Well that segwayd quite nicely into Chuck having to go to the junk yard. And dang, those guys really like to mess with him.

-Workable computer parts in a junkyard... I guess it works.

-Interesting how when Rat bangs on Random, it sounds like he's banging on a garbage can lid.

-Way to lose the Amulet Rat.

-So Rat just assumes Random can hook up to Chuck's robot, or is that actually part of his character, that he can hook up to machines and make them stronger? We shall see.

-"I can't concentrate." "Is your pizza soggy?" YEAH!!!! I can't concentrate BECAUSE MY PIZZA IS SOGGY!!!!! :P

-And Mark's parents either must be very trusting, or actually be at home, cause at that age my mom would never let me have girls around the house without them around.

-Hmmm... Ice cream truck aprked at school huh.... I wonder what THEY'VE been selling? :P

-Food really does seem to cheer Chuck up.

-"My coffin's, always open." Seriously, that isn't even trying to make something out of nothing, that could totally be Lord Fear trying to say something.

-Random not attacking Mark cause he really isn't a coward was awesome. This is shaping up to be an awesome episode.

-So Ace didn't recharge before heading back into battle?

-RAT DOES LOOK A JESTER!!!! Well... sort of... Googler's got it down better though.

-Mark actually sounds pretty heroic in these scenes. Cool stuff.

-So Random doesn't simply have a "fight good people" "fight evil people" seeting. it's more fight who he deems as good and evil, depending on what mode he's in.

-Help your friends. Another message from Ace Lightning. And a pretty compelling episode to have that message as well.

-Seems Samantha has warmed to Chuck since she's helping him out.

-That scene with Ace and Random at the end was touching. "How can you trust me, if I can't trust myself?" Deep stuff.

-PEPSI PRODUCT PLACEMENT!!!

-Becoming a hero truly is a big part of this show.

-I smiled at the end of that episode. I don't usually do that with TV. Way to go Ace Lightning.

AND CHUCK WAS BARELY ANNOYING AT ALL THIS EPISODE!!! I may have to stop commenting on how annoying he can be since he's really cut down on that.

And kudos to the person who made the Ace Lightning/Random video on youtube that had me looking forward to this episode so much. It lived up to the expectation.

Another great review, Rider! :D

I thought Pete was ready to come to America at that point, but he may still. *coughs*

Zip and Snip are alive and have separate minds. You'll see them fly around on their own in several episodes.

You are right about Chuck. Behind the goofy personality is the mind of a young genius.

Random Virus is the most unique character in the show and has the most background development. I e-mailed the show's creator about it and he said that six years before the show's events, Random was severly damaged in a battle that cost him his limbs (where his robotic limbs are) and it also scrambled his programming, creating his split personality. Pretty cool and tragic. :P

I suppose when Lord Fear says "My coffin is always open", he means that Duff can come and speak to him about anything involving Ace or the other villains. The relationship between LF and Duff is on and off, but it can work well at times.

I think you will enjoy the next episode, Rider. It involves the Ace-LI-LF love triangle, Ace being a showoff, Chuck having a heaven of earth moment and the best moment when... actually, I leave that a secret until you watch it. It will leaving laughing in pain.

Rider Jetfire - April 26, 2008 03:10 AM (GMT)
